Hotel Loft — Hotel in Seoul

We've just had 9 nights at this lovely little boutique hotel. Although it is not in central Seoul we were at most 30 minutes by subway to just about all the attractions Seoul has to offer.|Our room was clean and comfy, with a little enclosed deck. Even though we had a construction site next door, the double glazed windows meant we didn't hear a thing! Excellent water pressure and good hot water.|The staff were lovely, very helpful indeed.|Given we stayed for more than 7 nights we were entitled to 1 free laundry service, which was very welcome!|The hotel itself is about a 7 minute walk from Dangsan Station, which is the inner circle line, which links up with all the other subways very conveniently. Exit via Gate 13 and head to the main road and turn right. Walk till you come to the first pedestrian crossing, cross over and keep heading right. You will pass a Paris Baguette cafe. Take the next turn left, walk about 50 metres and you will see the entrance to the hotel on the left. There is a little outdoor sitting area. |The are a lot of eateries around this area. Don't worry if you can't read anything in English on the door - as soon as you walk in you will be passed an English menu😁. W ate along the main road nearly every night, and at a different restaurant too. The options were great, and food always tasty! |If you want a meal a little more upmarket I can highly recommend Entas (South Korea, Seoul, Yeongdeungpo-gu, 93-1, TCC센터 3층) which is about 15 minutes down Seongyudong 2-ro. Turn left out of the hotel and keep going until you hit a major road then turn left. There is a building that has a small lot of stairs. Go inside and take the lift to the first floor. My 2 stars were for the cleaning auntie! 7/9,afternoon a male manager with glasses was very rude with me! When we checked in with the male manager , I told him that we had booked 6 nights and I preferred to stay at 3 types of their suites , each suite for 2 nights ! ( I wrote to them already within my booking) But he looked not happy and called a woman to speak Chinese with me ( I come from Taiwan and I can speck English very well and this manager also can speak English ) I told the manager that I didn't need translation between I and him ! The manager still rejected my request and his reason was they had to clean the 3 suites every time after my exchange ! ( I told him this is a design hotel and I want to enjoy 3 types of your suite that is why I booked 6 nights with you !) Even if another guest they book 1 night and you still need to clean the suite after the 1 night stay ! But the manager insisted that I needed to stay in a suite for 6 nights ! ( I was very disappointed after my check in !) In my second and third night , this male manager ignored and didn't greeting with me when I came back to hotel in the late night , THIS WAS VERY RUDE AS A DESIGN HOTEL MANAGER ! In my sixth and seventh morning , this male manager ignored and didn't greeting with me when I left the hotel , THIS WAS VERY RUDE AS A DESIGN HOTEL MANAGER !
