When we arrived and I saw it from the outside, I really didn't expect much and was quite disappointed but from the moment I stepped through he door, things started to get better. ||Thee was no way I intended to eat there but the receptionist was so friendly and helpful and after her recommending it I decided to give it a try. 😊: Continental breakfast was ok. Hotel restaurant produces very good Spanish food and I was able to eat lunch in the hotel garden which was popular with locals, a good sign. Highlights were oxtail as a starter and rabbit paella as a main. Their almond cream desserts are fantastic. Evening meals in the hotel restaurant also good, as was the wine. We stayed two nights here at the end of a week's holiday in the Murcia Region - far and away the best bit of the holiday. Very much a small-town local hotel, with only one of the staff speaking any English, which somehow added to the attraction. The room was very good, 50 euros per night (for two of us) including breakfast which was taken in the bar with the locals - brilliant. Restaurant was also excellent - see separate review.
