Our experience at this hotel was an absolute failure, far below what one would expect from a so-called four-star “boutique” establishment. The receptionist was shockingly unprofessional, unfriendly, and entirely incapable—setting the tone for a deeply disappointing stay. This place is grossly overrated, and its approach to hospitality is completely backwards; instead of prioritizing guests, they seem more focused on squeezing every cent, with no regard for quality or service.
We booked a 55-square-meter suite directly through the hotel’s website for €477. Upon check-in, however, we were charged a staggering €717 and placed in a much smaller garden room—nothing close to what we had reserved. To make matters worse, the hotel had no restaurant, despite its website claiming otherwise. Hungry and frustrated, we left to find food elsewhere.
When we returned, we reviewed our booking details and noticed the error. Approaching the receptionist only worsened the situation. Despite showing our confirmation, he became defensive and overwhelmed, fumbling with the computer for over 15 minutes before basically sending us away (!!) so he could make phone calls. No apology, no compensation—just pushed out the door to wait. After another 10 minutes of unnecessary frustration, the receptionist finally admitted there had been a technical error. We were eventually moved to a suite, and the excess €240 was refunded, but by that point, the damage had been done.
Even the suite we finally received fell short. The shower drain was clogged, so we had to stand in ankle-deep water while showering. A fire alarm above the bed blinked a red light every 40 seconds, making it impossible to sleep properly. The view? A lovely sight of the neighbouring building. And as there was still no restaurant on-site and very few dining options nearby, it was inconvenient unless you had a car.
To top it all off, we were charged for water—yes, the water they casually placed in the fridge without any clear indication that it was part of their “mini bar.” We even mentioned that one of us hadn’t had breakfast during our 3-night stay, yet they still insisted on making us pay for everything.
This hotel doesn’t understand hospitality at all. They made us feel like a burden rather than valued guests. Between the rude staff, overpriced rooms, and hidden charges, this was a complete failure on every level. We won’t be returning, and we definitely can’t recommend...
Read moreWe found this hotel on Tui, looks exactly as the photos. Really is a beautiful hotel and quiet. Quite hilly, if you have mobility problems I wouldn't recommend. As a hotel rooms are beautiful, bathroom, facilities. Smells like oranges and peaches. Toilets clean, pool heated, loads of seating areas and a little shop just 2 min walk (across carpark on a dirt path cross the zebra crossing its there). A car would be recommended however we taxied to Siam Mall (10€) for larger Groceries and into costa Adeje (15€) for a day out, lots of pubs, shops, beach down there etc. Food at hotel lovely, I had a vegetarian poke bowl which was beautiful and also a burger. Areas of improvement, I wouldn't hesitate a 5 star review: fresh water in your room daily I see as a must (you get 2 small bottles on arrival) especially in the heat our temps reached 36 degrees. A restaurant, even if it was opened limited times. You could eat at the pool bar but it's outside and on our last day I found it far too hot to sit and eat in the sun! Review bar prices. A bottle of wine at the supermarket averages 5-8€ a small glass is 5€ not a complaint but would be inclined to spend more at the bar if the prices were lower. No guiness, my husband only likes a quiness but not the end of the world. Bar snacks range from 12€ to 17€. Bar closes at 8pm too. Breakfast we didn't eat as it was contential and for 20€ we found we could get a full English/choice in adeje with the cost of a taxi for the same price. Checkout was 12 so we had no where to go for 6 and a half hours, maybe a shower room. This is me being picky.... if this hotel was located on the front it would definitely be somewhere I couldn't afford as for the hotel decor and stunning views, places to sit and retreat it's perfect. Great if you wanna chill and do nothing which is what I wanted but I felt limited on food! On that note there is a pub uphill 10 min walk and that is it. The pub is also closed Tuesday and Thursdays and only opens at 4pm. Overall, enjoyed our stay, would I come again, yes but with a car as felt a little isolated. Young lad on reception Lucas, lovely and informative...
Read moreThe small hotel is located about 4 km from Los Cristianos. To reach the beach and the nearest center, a car is absolutely necessary. Parking is limited, and in the evening, it’s difficult to find a spot in the small public parking lot. There are partial parking restrictions on the street, and cars were towed away. Additionally, traffic in this area is heavy, and the road layout is somewhat confusing, making driving challenging. Traffic jams are frequent, especially at roundabouts and on the highway.
Our room was in the rear part of the hotel, overlooking the ruins of a swimming pool and an old tennis court, which is used to store rusty furniture and trash. Although an effort was made to furnish the rooms nicely, some older elements seem to have been carried over from the previous hotel (e.g., squeaky wardrobe doors, poor drainage, a small shower with old tiles). We couldn’t use the bathtub because the boiler didn’t hold enough hot water for a bath.
During our stay, only a few rooms were occupied, so we often had breakfast alone. The bar closes around 8 p.m., so there were hardly any opportunities for social interaction – it was pretty dead, so to speak.
A major issue was a pest infestation affecting the hotel’s plants. It seemed to be some kind of lice that multiplied quickly, clung to walls and floors, and caused brown stains everywhere. This made everything look quite neglected, at least in the rear part of the hotel. The white lice were also crawling on the ground, and we constantly feared stepping on them and bringing them into our room. We found this very unpleasant.
Considering the location, cleanliness, and overall comfort, we won’t be staying at this hotel again, nor would we recommend it. It was far too expensive for what it offered – for the same price, we could have booked an apartment or hotel room near the beach and avoided a...
