I stayed here in 2024 having stayed here in 2022||Pluses ||The hotel is luxurious |The breakfast was very nice|Sleep quality was good||Minuses||The hotel was clearly in the process of being set up for a wedding 2 days later as we were greeted by a very loud sound check for the music on our arrival.||The gardens which are nice were full all afternoon of workmen setting the place up for the wedding (the holiday was to close on the Friday, the day before the wedding and to be honest it should not have taken our booking for the Thursday either.||Sadly this left us with a very poor taste in the mouth as this is one place we were really looking forward to staying in.||The owner when asked why he had taken the booking went off on a tangent telling us how tough it was and that he would be making no money out of the wedding.||It would be a good idea to check, before booking, to ensure that the hotel had taken no wedding bookings so that you could enjoy...

The service in this hotel is impeccable. It is what you would expect from a five-star hotel. There’s a small but very good six table restaurant on the third floor. The chef specializes in pastries and desserts so be sure to not miss that part. The room is well decorated and the bed and sheets are extremely comfortable. The decorations are on theme with the 1930s but done with luxury in mind. We had the ceviche which was combined with mango. It gives it a little twist on the standard dish. The seafood wad of good quality. We had chicken fingers with potatoes. Also nice. The winner was the pistachio tart. Powerful flavors and good texture. The cheesecake was also good with fruit compote. Water was given upon arrival and they had nice apples in the lobby. There is a pool we did not use with a backyard terrace where apparently they hosted two weddings this year with more to come. Lovey breakfast...

Location was wonderful for our stay while hiking the camino. The staff were exceptional and the breakfast was delicious. This room was booked through a travel package so we did not know details until we arrived however we were given a room with skylights. The room did not get dark until after 1030 pm and i couldnt sleep. Staff offered me a sleep mask but i do not use those so it didnt help me. It was extremely awkward. We also had issue that there was nowhere but the middle of the floor to put your bags, shelves and desk looked nice but were impractical for us. Bathroom looked beautiful but there was only one partial wall for the shower resulting in water spraying out and a moldy wall from this happening to others as well. The towel rack did not turn on either and there was only shampoo and bath wash, no hand soap in the bathroom. Overall lovely and the staff were really great but the room didnt quite...

We stayed here 2 nights while walking the Camino. It was fabulous not to have to pack up and move for 1 day. We were picked up in O Pedrouzo taken back to the hotel then brought there the following morning by Adrian. Would highly recommend this service! Our room was one of the new casita-the rooms and it was beautiful and clean with lots of storage space, a super comfy bed and pillows and a huge bathroom! We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the fountain/pool. Probably the priciest place we stayed on the Camino but very much worth it! The staff was lovely, kind and friendly. Adrian was incredibly helpful. The included breakfast was a served affair (7:30 or 8:15) and it was delicious and ample! The WiFi was excellent. There is no fridge or kettle in the room. Very secure and safe. There is a super clean lavanderia very close to the hotel to easily access and do laundry.

This is the quintessential luxury treat along the Camino de Santiago. This hotel is beautiful, it is comfortable and so welcoming. Firstly the location is unbeatable. Tucked away a street from the main square, whilst providing the necessary quietness for a weary traveller. Comfort also is exactly what the bed and linen provides. Now whilst the rooms are small, it is beautifully furnished and meticulously clean. I do have one gripe, which is the lack of shelving in the shower to put soap, shampoo, etc on. As for the staff, friendly, welcoming and wonderfully attentive. Finally, if you have the chance to have dinner in the meals room on the third floor, do so as the quality and taste of the food is amazing.
