The Bad: 1. The room had a broken ventilation system — whenever our neighbors cooked and turned on their extractor fan, all the food smells would come straight into our room. 2. The windows could only open about 10 centimeters due to a low cornice. 3. When it rained, water started pouring into the room through the window seams. We experienced real flooding — everything was soaked. The water damage on the walls clearly shows it wasn’t the first time this happened. 4. There are no safes in the rooms. 5. The door to the room looked insecure and locked with a basic key — not reassuring at all. 6. Very poor soundproofing — when neighbors laughed or spoke loudly, it was impossible to sleep. 7. No security cameras in the hallways — again, questionable in terms of safety. 8. There was an insect trap in the room — felt more like a Soviet-era apartment block on the outskirts of Moscow. 9. Poor cleaning service: they only made the bed and changed towels. Trash in the bathroom was never taken out, and the floors were neither swept nor washed. 10. There was no proper frying pan — we had to buy our own. 11. No drying rack for clothes, so we had to dry things wherever we could after going to the beach. 12. No electric kettle in the rooms. 13. None of the above issues were solved by hotel management. We received total silence on WhatsApp across two phone numbers — not a single response during our entire week-long stay. ⸻ The Good: 1. Fairly convenient location — 5 minutes on foot to the sea, 5 minutes to the final metro stop (30 minutes from the door to Passeig de Gràcia), and 5 minutes to the train station. Several decent cafés and restaurants nearby, plus a shopping street. 2. Rooms are relatively new and clean (except for the window situation). 3. Decent TV. 4. Nice bathroom fittings — looked pretty new. 5. The bed and mattress were fairly comfortable (though there was no duvet). 6. The price may seem low, but after our stay, I strongly suggest thinking twice before saving money here. Consider booking a different hotel or apartment to avoid the same mistakes we made. 7. If you only plan to sleep in the room — and you have earplugs and no valuables — this place might work for you.

We were satisfied by our apartment, it was clean and equipped. I think it was renovated in a few years. The airconditioner was working perfectly, such as the kintchen tools. The bathroom was well equipped too. The location is fine, metro and railway stations can be reach by 5 minutes walk. The beach and the seaside promenade with restaurants are near too. If anything happen the host are avaible in short time. All apartments of the building can be rent and belongs to one host. The access was easy, the host gave us all necesary information in advance via booking.com chat.

There was no significant problem. I would place one wardrobe furniture to the apartment where the guests could store their clothes. For long term rents it could help a lot. Sometimes there is some noise but it can handle...
