Really disappointed in this hotel and it’s staff. They claim they are a calm oasis of comfort in a business park. In reality it’s uncomfortable and unaccommodating. ||They have the nerve to claim they have a “business centre”. This is two tiny booths in the reception with 2 old PCs. What happens if you need to arrange a meeting with 10 business guests? Hardly a “centre”!||The beds are terrible. My colleagues and I had 3 double rooms. The double beds are nothing more than single beds pushed together. The beds are on wheels on a marble floor so whenever I got into bed they would move and/or drift apart from each other. I found myself literally rearranging the bedside cabinets sideways to try and help stop the bed movement. ||The breakfast is very average at best. Worse though, they have a big metal tea urn and one particular waitress refuses to turn it on. I complained to reception about her after she literally laughed in my face when I asked if I could have hot water for a tea. She told me that 60 degrees is hot enough. When I complained to reception she insisted she had already told me I needed to wait for the water to heat up. Any more when this woman had a shift I’d find the tea urn turned off and Luke warm. How dare you tell me what temperature my tea should be brewed at. You should be ashamed of yourselves, especially after such a simple request. I’m British, I drink tea for a living and tea is not brewed at 60 degrees. ||Forget eating at the hotel of an evening or (as much colleague attempted) trying to order a pint on a Saturday evening. They don’t seem to serve food or drink 90% of the time. There’s a big shopping centre over the road that has several restaurants. Be warned though, a lot of these seem to be closed on random days and times and even the ones that are open are pretty bad. You’ll have to take a drive to Sabadell or other surrounding areas in search of decent food. ||Parking is anything other than ample. You’ll struggle to find an actual space, we had to park up on the pavement most nights. Some cars parked across multiple spots and got away with it. Quite often 1 or 2 coaches could be found taking up most of the car park for the entire night. ||Satnavs will try and take you to the “entrance” down a side road. However this entrance is always locked so you have to drive around the business park to get in an alternative way. Quite annoying on our first night while we were trying to locate the way...
Read moreWe arrived late into Barcelona and had nothing booked (yikes) but only our car, thinking we could wing it and find a room easily. Wrong. Hard to find a hotel with free parking for the night. Exhausted we researched and found this place. Its way out of the way, inland from Barcelona itself but if you have a car and don't mind driving, its worth a stay. The rooms are clean, the staff are nice (could be friendlier), but nice :) Breakfast buffet is about 10 euros and worth it because there's only a mall nearby, and who wants to eat at the mall??!!! Bathrooms are clean and bed is comfortable enough to get a good nights sleep. There's freeway traffic noise during the day but that's only if you open the window. We stayed on the 5th floor and the fresh air was soothing to the body, hence traffic noise. Not much of a view except buildings, parking lot, freeway. But no one bothered us so we got some much needed rest after hours of flying. The rooms have a safe which is important if you're a traveler and have traveling documents like passports and cash. The rooms are updated and basic modern (nothing unique) but clean. Its good for travelers who just need a place to stay without the fluff. Just make sure its the room you want. We almost got stuck with a room with 3 single or twin beds which makes no sense considering its two of us, but they gladly us in a king size room at no cost. So feel free to ask :) Their cafeteria or dining hall closes at 11pm. So run across the street to the mall (only option) and go to Gambinos Pizzeria. The make a great pizza! And don't...
Read moreWe were here for 3 days with a turist group. -No one knows English: Receptionists and personal have no idea about English, even basic words and sentences. We communicate with hand language almost. -Rooms are cold: there is a heater but doesn’t warm the room, just sound. -Not clean: when we open the bedlinen there were to much hair inside, sticked to covers. -They don’t call a taxi. They don’t give information about near places, bus station, or metro-train lines. -Very very very far away then Barcelona. It’s impossible to reach the hotel with public transportation. I added the images of hotel place: It’s just down to highway and crossroads. Impossible to walk any public transportation. On the map it seems close to bus station or train station but 30minutes away by walking. Moreover no pedestrian way to walk. If you decide to walk you have to walk by the side of the highway. 2.The location with car travel is 19 km away. With a normal taxi it costs 40€, if you lucky you can find UberX and it costs 30€. By the way, from hotel to city center you have to use the Uber, other wise you can’t find a taxi, and approximate waiting time when the taxi accepts you is 10-20 minutes. -Room has no voice protection. Every sound around your room, including upper flat, is inside your room. -Breakfast was fine. Nothing bad but also nothing good. I felt full but not happy. -There is a shopping center opposite the hotel. You can reach it by 10 minutes walking. Only good thing for the hotel, to find...
