Señorio de Briñas Hospederia — Hotel in Briñas

Our stay here was last-minute, as the Parador we had booked was in a town which was completely sealed off due to Covid with one day’s notice. We were driving from Costa Brava to the ferry at Bilbao. What a pleasant surprise! |The GR99 walking route passes through the village, which is on this beautiful stretch of the Ebro river. We had a lovely stroll on arrival and again before we left.|Our room was enormous, very quiet, with a super-king size bed (180cms) lovely luxurious bed linen and a large bathroom.|The measures in place for Covid were excellent, with a sterilising machine for the room key, glass bottles for water which you take and fill yourself from a cooling machine, a dispenser for disinfectant, etc. |Excellent value for money, and a super, copious breakfast. We felt very safe, and well looked...

I stayed at the Hospederia Senorio de Brinas for two nights and what a wonderful short stay it was. From the moment I arrived until my departure I can find no fault.|On arrival the manager invited me to have a coffee, so welcome after a 5 hour drive. Then a brandy and then some home made cake with brandy. What a great start.||A delightfully decorated traditional hotel and the entrance was stunning. My room was very well furnished and very clean. I could not fault the room as it was also spacious and airy. The bathroom had everything you needed as well.||Breakfast was continental but sufficient for the day ahead and had enough variety.||A lovely stay in a lovely hotel. And........... Charming little bed and breakfast hostelry in the charming little village of Brinas just outside of the La Rioja capital, Haro. This is an ideal spot from which to set out on wine tours of the region or make short day trips to the picturesque towns and villages such as Laguardia, Bastida, San Vicente, Caselerreina and Santa Domingo de la Calzada. Our room was extremely clean, generously sized with extremely comfortable, large beds. The public areas are simple and comfortable with a charming outdoor terrace. Fresh breakfast is included and parking very easy in the public areas adjacent to the hotel - and free. The staff are extremely warm and friendly, and happy to accept well behaved dogs for avery small nightly charge. This hotel represents excellent value and highly recommended. Stayed...
