Delicious, traditional, Riojas cooking served in a pleasant atmosphere with kind, attentive staff. Ruth helped us decipher the menu and her recommendations were terrific. The lamb chops brought to the table on a smoking brazier are a must-have as is another house special, menestra-- a "vegetable stew" that isn't pretty but sure is tasty! Just about every table in the restaurant had these dishes on both of our visits. The cod in the Riojana style and the solomillo de ternera (steak) also were awesome. Bring your appetite-- servings are generous and meant to share. Be sure to book-- this place is always full and they only serve lunch, but what a lunch it is! You may not even want...

Lovely atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon l, very busy, and very attentive service. Unfortunately the food was really lacking. I had the only vegetarian option which was a vegetable stew. It was battered vegetables which came almost immediately, so we're not fresh at all. It was cold and sat in a horrible vegetable water, it was pretty much inedible. My husband had lamb which was ok. The wine was lovely though and the prices...

"Vamos a comer donde Txomin". Una frase asi augura una buena comilona a un precio asequible. Es oirla y se abre tu estomago y comenzar a salivar. No es comparable a cuando te dice tu pariente pijillo " vamos a comer a Le Maison du Puturrú fua", donde adivinas racion escasa, postureo y sablazo. No señor, comer donde Txomin significa raciones generosas, especialidades de la casa, ambiente bullicioso, precio justo y rico olor a chuletillas al sarmiento. Nuestra experiencia no pudo ser mas positiva. Pedimos la menestra (que no ministra) de verduras que es la especialidad de la casa totalmente recomendable, paté, chorizo (muy suave y rico). De segundos chuletillas al sarmiento, merluza a la plancha y merluza rebozada. Postres caseros flan, tarta de whisky, tarta de queso, piña etc. etc. En total, seis personas, unos 190€. Salimos saciados y felices y casi con ganas de zambullirnos en el cercano Ebro a hacer la digestión. Muy recomendable, gracias por tanto Txomin y no me...

Un sitio normal, buena atención y limpio. Las raciones justas. El menú de 12€ no merece la pena y además no incluye bebida. Se aparca fácil. No es un sitio que volviera, no entiendo las excelentes valoraciones. Pedimos fuera de menú, la menestra, que no es menestra ya que son berenjenas rebozadas con algo de verdura. Revuelto de gambas y ajetes, solo 2 gambas. Entremeses que estaban bien. De segundo pimientos rellenos de carne sin sabor, y dos raciones de chuletas, 8 piezas, pequeñas, escasa ración. Y dos cuajadas medio líquidas y tarta de queso que no lo era, un poco regular. Todo por 70€. Normalito pero no para volver desde luego.

Un sitio normal, buena atención y limpio. Las raciones justas. El menú de 12€ no merece la pena y además no incluye bebida. Se aparca fácil. No es un sitio que volviera, no entiendo las excelentes valoraciones. Pedimos fuera de menú, la menestra, que no es menestra ya que son berenjenas rebozadas con algo de verdura. Revuelto de gambas y ajetes, solo 2 gambas. Entremeses que estaban bien. De segundo pimientos rellenos de carne sin sabor, y dos raciones de chuletas, 8 piezas, pequeñas, escasa ración. Y dos cuajadas medio líquidas y tarta de queso que no lo era, un poco regular. Todo por 70€. Normalito pero no para volver desde luego.
