Quie nice little familal hostal in the middle of the town of Chipiona not so far from Sanlugar de Barrameda, but no problems with to noisy or to busy in this neighbourhood roUnd The lighthouse. Parking is not very easy In this neighbourhood in the middle of summer but the reception was very helpful! The hostal is made in typical andaloucian style round an open space, a warm welcome. People are living apart together here: we loved the informal style here. The hostal andaloucia lies Just some hundred meters from beautiful beaches and the famous near The old lighthouse.. 15 years ago this was not an bathplace: lots seemed to be changed! Nice to visit, never saw something as this. Nice rooms, friendly and helpfull people. Toilets and shower were very okay. We just loved it: Chipiona is fun at The andalucia coast: we loved swimming, the fine tapas and lots of fino, amontlllado, px or oloroso sherry! The possibilites to enjoy here are famous and lots of people dose know this! We took some Nice breakfasts in The morning here at The seashore: fine! So, we are surely coming back to stay some longer time here. Maybe The may or june months are milder than full summer here at this fantastic place . You see : we enjoyed...
Read moreWe (mature couple!) stayed here in September 2013. You need to speak Spanish to get the best from the charming town of Chipiona but this hostal provide us with a friendly, welcoming base. Close to the bars and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet at night it was excellent value for money (€40 per night). The whole hostal was neat and tidy and our room was cleaned thoroughly and clean towels provided each day. Sheets were changed twice a week and wifi and air conditioning was included in the room rate. There is no room safe but there is either a locked front door or someone on reception. A communal fridge and microwave is provided free (you can have a small fridge in your room for a small charge).Breakfast is not included in the price but there are plenty of restaurants where you can get tostadas (toasted half baguettes) with jam or a savoury top and coffee for €2.50 per head! The hostal has no car park so finding a place to leave your car can be a bit of as problem though in our case never more than a two minute walk away. Would we...
Read moreWe stayed here 5 nights from 7th June 2017 and the hostal was fantastic. We had 2 rooms next to each other on the ground floor in the courtyard which was beautiful. The rooms are exceptionally clean with new bathrooms; towels changed every day; beds made and room cleaned.||The owner and her mother are fabulous people and very helpful with my limited Spanish and the owner's limited English we still managed to converse and she was very helpful. ||We parked the car with no problem and no charges just round the corner. We then used Chipiona as a base and caught the bus (20 minute walk to bus station) to Cadiz, Jerez and Sanlucar. It was lovely to have a rest from driving after coming up from Malaga via Ronda. The buses were coaches with air con and...
