Hotel Levante — Hotel in Formentera

I had never previously been to Formentera so, was rather excited by the prospect. I was to be there but 4 nights so wanted to place myself somewhere reasonably central.| |Es Pujols seemed to fit the bill, and so Hotel Levente was chosen.| |One small separate point, bring lots of money, restaurant prices in Formentera were if not higher than London Prices, certainly on a par!||As you can see from the attached pics, all was clean and largely fit for purpose. Whilst the view from room 202, overlooking the car park was hardly scenic, I never came to Formentera to simply stare out of my room window.| |Breakkie was adequate without being sumptuous. ||Room rate was a mean average of 110 Euros over the 4 nights, this plus an obligatory 2 Euros per night Government tax which, is noticeably excluded from the Hotels booking page which proudly declares your final rate is...||I was not the first to question this omission and whilst small, still lacked the transparency I was used to and expected when travelling elsewhere in the world. ||The best way to prehaps describe the overall experience, was as; OK. ||I can't honestly say I yearn to return. If anything, it represented largely what I expected, a nice three star hotel with pool.||Absolutely nothing wrong with that but, characterful it was not. ||You pay's your money and takes your choice...||As always, happy and safe...

We have just got back from a fantastic 5 nights at the Hotel Levante.. I cannot fault it, great room on the second floor over looking the lovely pool and garden area. The reception staff, Fernanda, Salva and Carmen so helpful and great advice on where to go and where to eat and Veronica who worked behind the bar in the afternoons, nothing was too much trouble, everyone made us feel so welcome, hence we always had a nightcap in the bar before going up to the room, no evening meals, but the snacks that were offered in the bar until 16.00, were ideal.

Even though the hotel was full, the pool and breakfast area were always quiet, which was perfect.

The air conditioning did not work one day, we told reception that afternoon and by the time we got back from dinner it had been fixed.

Location was the best, walking distance to everywhere, amazing beaches and really good restaurants for evening meals to walk to and no British about :) plenty of Italians though and Spanish, so it was an ideal break. Not a cheap island, but would definitely go back, as only a 2 and a quarter hour boat ride from Dénia. Pasamos una semana con mi esposa en una habitacion matrimonial en este buenissimo hotel ubicado en el pleno centro a Es Pujols Formentera. El hotel no tiene aparcamiento pero bajo de la piscina abriendo una puerta del hotel donde hay un aparcamiento muy grande y gratis. El hotel es grande tiene una hermosa hall y un bar junto al hotel y despues una piscina grande con tumbonas y sombrillas con un bar en frente a la piscina y hay tambien dos duchas. Nuestra habitacion en el segundo piso excelente grande limpia con un pequeno balcon con una mesa y dos sillas con vista sobre la piscina y hay television el bano grande con una ducha grande y dotado de shampoo geil de bano. Hay armadios un pequeno frigo bar y caja fuerte. El personal de la limpieza limpian todos los dias todas las habitaciones y tambien las toallas las cambian. El desayuno a buffet muy variado de dulce y salado y se puede desayunar o en el salon interno o al abierto frente a la piscina con vista sobre la piscina pero ojo con las gaviotas que comen la comida en los platos de las mesas al abierto. Las gaviotas estan en el techo del hotel esperando que los clientes dejen las mesas para buscar comida. Las elevadoras funcionan muy bien y el wifi mas o menos a segunda de ubicacion de los clientes y es un problema igual en toda Formentera. Ultima anotacion ageadecemos todo el personal de la recepcion de la limpieza y del desayuno por ser tan acogedor siempre sonriente competente profesional cordial disponible y siempre a disposicion por cualquiera duda o informacion Precios buenos!!

We spent a week with my wife in a double room in this great hotel located in the center of Es Pujols Formentera. The hotel does not have parking but I go down from the pool opening a door of the hotel where there is a very large and free parking lot. The hotel is large, it has a beautiful hall and a bar next to the hotel and then a large pool with sun loungers and parasols with a bar in front of the pool and there are also two showers. Our room on the second floor was excellently large and clean with a small balcony with a table and two chairs with a view of the pool and there was a television and a large bathroom with a large shower and equipped with gel bath shampoo. There are wardrobes, a small refrigerator, a bar and a safe. The cleaning staff cleans all the rooms every day and also changes the towels. The buffet breakfast is very varied from sweet and savory and you can have breakfast either in the internal room or in the open room in front of the pool with a view of the pool but be careful with the seagulls that eat the food on the plates of the open tables. The seagulls are on the roof of the hotel waiting for customers to leave the tables to look for food. The elevators work very well and the wifi is more or less second to the clients' location and it is the same problem throughout Formentera.
