Queen Burger Formentera — Restaurant in Formentera

We went dining at this restaurant yesterday. The food was great, nice burgers and fries, tasty, quite rich. Maybe a bit too much sauce but that’s the only negative thing about the food. The was ok, we came during a football game so the restaurant was quite. The troubling thing was the service. The waitress seemed nice but a bit intrusive and pushy. We decided to come back again the evening and as we came up to the entrance, we overheard to of the waitresses referring to my boyfriend as « el chino » twice then laugh. I truly hope this was a mistake on their part but comments like this (I do not need to remind anyone this is basic racism) should NEVER be made. We visited Queen Burger during off-season in Formentera and were so happy to see its one of the few shops open in late October!

We visited multiple times and enjoyed the croquettes (the fig jam is amazing!), wings, little Italy & big mama burgers. It’s all flavorful and fresh. Ezequiel’s service was wonderful. He was very attentive and kind. He even brought out Google translate to ensure we understood him correctly (which was appreciated for the little Spanish I know). I must be dreaming with seeing all the 5 star reviews . Burgers out in 5 minutes. Come on. I bet they were precooked and put back on the grill. Tough meat and minimal flavor.
