A renewed hotel I only managed to try out now because it was closed during and some time after the pandemics.. and it was worth the waiting.

It is one of those kind of grandious hotel with huge lobbies and long grandiose chandeliers, it comes with with the structure of the building, probably from the 60's where this type was the high luxury and status.

With the renewal, everything came to place, it starts off by being a luxurious shiny hotel, but then you discover a really well balanced room comfort and decoration that can appeal to both young/modern as well as the conservative/classic. I found the mixture semi-dark tones, with a lot of texture and wood all around, with shiny bits and black mate... that surprised, what conforting hug you feel.

The bathroom follows this same philosophy, it is posh (not so modern in this case), clean and functional, all good.

Could try the breakfast just one day and I would say it is more than correct, nothing will blow your mind in terms of products or flavour, but you will be more than satisfied.

On the down side, I would say the parking, again the age of this building makes it hard for large cars (Suv's or mini-Vans) not only to park but even access, I myself was waiting for a 9-seater to go from -2 to -3 taking it 20 maneuvers and 3 sets of eyes! 😜

Nonetheless, this is the hotel I will go back to in Granada, it's comfortable, it's well located, it is reasonable in price (although pricy for Granada) and just prefer staying there for now, hope this description help someone make up their mind,...

Hotel Granada Center

It is in the details that one distinguishes the ordinary from the truly remarkable. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels ranging from three to five stars, and repeatedly within the Center Hotels chain, I must observe that while some gestures of comfort are offered, fundamental aspects remain overlooked.

Reception: Pleasant and efficient. Special mention goes to Olga, whose professionalism and attentiveness merit a full 10/10 – many could learn from her example.

Room: Appropriately sized, with very good acoustic insulation, ensuring a restful stay.

Bathroom: Rather small, almost challenging in its layout. It lacked a towel rail, and the overhead shower was in urgent need of maintenance.

Cleanliness: Impeccable. A well-deserved 10/10.

Breakfast: Unfortunately, this was the weakest point of the stay. Options for diabetics, vegans, or guests with gluten intolerance were extremely limited. The lack of consideration in both the volume and selection of background music created an atmosphere far below the expectations of a four-star hotel.

Parking: Located in the basement and charged separately. Convenient, though not without its challenges.

Overall Impression: While the hotel provides comfort and maintains high standards in cleanliness and reception, the absence of refinement in crucial guest experiences – particularly accessibility, dietary sensitivity, and ambience – leaves the overall impression somewhat short of its...

Reception-staff friendly and well informed. However only one person working the reception made for long check in times. Also their computers/printers were not working.

Parking-absolute disaster! Avoid if possible. Spaces are tiny and the layout is horrible. €20 overnight.

Rooms-beautiful, clean, spacious, comfortable. Despite other reviews, our room had water and glasses, along with some basic tea/coffee facilities.

Breakfast-very basic for the price. Would not recommend. Food not very hot, bread not fresh (needs to be toasted). Sweet selection however was decent, cakes were beautiful.

Niggle- we were traveling to Sierra Nevada early Sunday morning. Breakfast only begins at 7. The kids were too tired to eat in the moment so we took a pastry for the 3 year old to eat in the car. Unfortunately the staff working there made a huge fuss, it was very embarrassing. When I asked what they would do with said pastry (wrapped in a tissue) she said put it in the bin :( obviously we would have organized our own food beforehand but we had encountered a delay the day before. Lack of understanding, and decorum for 4stars.

Location- next to the university, so Saturday night the streets close by were teeming with young adults drinking smoking and partying late into the night/morning . Would perhaps avoid if you’re staying with children.

Lifts- clean, swift and not a...
