Taberna Sabático — Restaurant in Granada

Lovely outoor eating area off the beaten path. This was THE BEST FOOD WE HAD IN GRANADA!!! We stumbled upon it on our walk from the train station.

Having been mildly disappointed with the lack of flavor of the food in Portugal and Spain, we "followed our nose" to this restaurant, and I'm glad we did.

You MUST get the picana. It's absolutely delicious. We also ordered the "pluma," and it's literally the best pork I've had in my life. Order those 2 things and a couple of glasses of beer, and you are in for a great meal.

This is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Granada. Since its opening, over a year ago, it has maintained its essence and originality. We have been there many times, either for lunch or dinner, or just some tapas. The outstanding quality of the food, along with the excellent service provided by the Palometas brothers, makes it an unforgettable experience every time you go. Very friendly close to Fuentenueva university campus, with both inside and tables outside on the terrace. All other diners were older locals, and the service was slick.

We enjoyed a variety of included tapas with our drinks, plus also ordered exellent Patatas Bravas and very tasty fried aubergines in honey.
