Càmping L'Ombra — Hotel in Llançà

Relatively cheap camping near the coast. It has all the things you need, but not really much more. Facilities are decent (even had a small bar/cafe) and the pool is a nice addition. However, the ground is almost impossible to get a pin in without a good rubber hammer as it is all dry, hard, dusty ground. So not the kinda area youre gonna wanna sit on the ground, you will also find the dry dust of the ground everywhere in your clothes and tent. It should be payed attention to that this camping is on a busy road, along which walking (to the town centre or coast or supermarket) is possible but unpleasant. In theory the campsite is okay, clean sandy pitches, new and clean bathrooms, very kind owner.

However, I would not recommend it for a long holiday, rather for a short stop if you are nearby.

Ce séjour a été le pire de toutes nos expériences de camping et nous avons du partir en urgence. Nous étions installés depuis deux jours au camping, sommes rentrés à 20h après une journée à la plage quand nous avons découvert que le camping s'était transformé en camp de vacances pour enfants. Une cinquantaine d'enfants etait reparti entremêlé avec les emplacements des autres clients normaux. Les enfants criaient et jouaient dans une cacophonie sans fin, on ne s'entendait même pas parler. La famille qui tient ce camping ne s'est même pas excusée de la situation et ne voulait pas nous rembourser la nuit car nous sortions après midi. Nous avons du insister pour qu'ils nous remboursent la moitié de la nuit et avons démonté le camp en urgence à 21h sans savoir où nous irions dormir cette nuit là. Le Monsieur âgé qui fait le check-in est extrêmement peu aimable. Il prend une demie heure à faire chaque check-in. Son fils qui vit dans une cabane au fond du camping est à l'image de son père. Il est venu me voir en me parlant d'un ton autoritaire pour que je ne fasse pas ma vaisselle à la fontaine d'eau. Qu'ils mette un panneau, ça leur éviterait de parler mal à leur clients. La famille qui tient le camping est malpolie, ils ne disent jamais ni bonjour ni merci ni pardon. Je ne reviendrai jamais dans ce camping et je ne le recommande...
