Amazing chef! Really ingenious, creative and intensive dishes. In that regard this place is top notch. The setting is picturesque! Beautiful with spectacular views. It’s a Relais & Chateaux property, with two Michelin Stars! They have 5 hotel rooms that I fully plan on staying at one day. The food itself is very modern. Clearly influenced by the molecular gastronomy trend of the early 2000’s that Spain is still stuck in. Personally I prefer the current farm to table, locavore, eat local, simple is better trend currently sweeping the rest of the world but that’s not to say that this restaurant doesn’t deserve its accolades because it absolutely does. Paco Pérez has helped but Llançà on the map and continues to do so. His restaurants in Barcelona are also worth a stop. His burger game is on pointe at Royale!...

However about two weeks later the restaurant took 480 euros from my card and refuse to refund it. I’m certain that they resold the table as it was July high season. They had said I would not be charged.
They are saying now some weeks later that they lost money as we didn’t turn up. I only knew who had taken the 480 euros from my Spanish bank account on my return to Spain in October. A...

What makes the experience special are the cleverness of how different techniques and influences are brilliantly applied to clearly convey ideas and themes of interest of the head Chef. It is a pleasure to see how elements of Japanese Kaiseki, or the tea ceremony (even elements of Chinese cuisine?) are adapted to create something unique, smart, and interesting.
The final touches that made this dinning experience unforgettable are the beauty of Llançà's port, visible from the main dinning room, and having access to the freshest seafood available. They are right...
