Stayed here for 11 nights. Prior to arrival we checked in online making it a bit quicker on arrival. Large underground car park which is shared with other businesses with a lift straight to reception. Cost of using the car park was €7 a day. Large room allocated with two balconies but no sea view which was extra. King size bed which was comfortable and a large bathroom with a corner bath, large walk in shower and separate toilet. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room with a fridge and a safe. The property also had a great little beach bar located a short walk away from the hotel which we made good use of. Any minor issues that we had during our stay were immediately rectified by the staff who were outstanding. Special mention to Javier and Isabel on reception and Nathalia in the bar area who were extremely helpful during our stay. Only negatives were a very temperamental WiFi connection in the room and no pool. Also problems with the key card room access. First of all we couldn't get in, then on two occasions the door wouldn't lock when we closed it on our way out. This issue was fixed immediately we reported it. We would definitely...
Read moreWe had a very negative experience at Hotel Atrio del Mar. We rented the hotel for three days at a high price, but our first impression was that the hotel did not look as luxurious and good as it did in the pictures. The real shock came when we entered the room and saw the bathroom. The bathroom was designed for disabled and elderly people, which was very demoralizing for us as a young couple coming for fun and relaxation.
We asked to change our room, citing that the bed was not a single one, but our request was denied. Then we wanted to cancel our reservation, but they told us that their manager was not available and would give us an answer the next day. The next day, when we inquired again, they said their manager would come in two days, which was the end of our stay. Despite repeatedly explaining our situation and asking for help, they did not accommodate us.
As a result, we left the hotel on the second day feeling demoralized and had to wait for hours for a bus to return to Alicante, which ruined our trip completely. Those considering staying at this hotel, especially young couples, should think twice. Our experience was extremely...
Read moreGreat hotel, good location, friendly staff. Food is of a buffet style. Brekkie was good, eggs had been sunbathing under the lights for a while, but plenty of international tastes, not just English. Evening meals though were somewhat disappointing and very “samey” every night, it all tasted the same. Location is great, very near to the beach and close enough to the old town is Los Alcázares. The beach bar was good too, however the sun beds were uncomfortable in my opinion, but that’s my opinion. I’ve spent the day on better. But that aside, a decent bar and food offering. Next time we go, we will only do brekkie only. Rooms, spacious and clean, well 427 was, bed very comfy. Overall, it would be a good experience here. We will return soon. Oh, and parking is currently €7 per day, which I thought was very reasonable.
Not too far from the bustling 525 Area, about 25 min walk, but the walk along the beach to Los Narejos is well worth...
