This place is carved in the mountain so consider yourself hiking up the mountain in your way back everytime you need to leave the hotel.

I wouldn't recommend this place for someone who is looking for total relaxation. it is a bit overpriced for what it offers. If you're seeking luxury, this isn't the place.

I genuinely had a good time due to the staff's kindness. Good customer service, especially at the trip's start, significantly enhances the overall experience, and this was my experience here.

The place is a huge confusing maze, making it very difficult to locate your room. When you finally do, it involves lots of stairs and often non-functional elevators.

There's no WiFi in the rooms or anywhere besides the reception area and some common spaces which is weak signal.

Roaches roam freely. I reported this to a cleaner. I showed her a roache just chilling by the pool. She laughed and said "ahhhh si si la cucaracha" as if he is a long retuning customer.

Room smelled so bad. The smell of mold and something rotten hits you once you open the door. Room is cold, as the temperature drops to 16 Celsius at night. No drinking water in the room. They aren't soundproof. I could hear the couple in the next room.

The furniture, bathroom fixtures, and chairs are old, often physically broken or unstable. I sat on the bed and heard a loud craking noise I looked under the bed and one of the bed legs broke and snapped from under the bed.

The double bed isn't a true double; it's just two single beds put together. The duvet cover is 2 loose bed sheets, when you're asleep, you end up in a mess of duvet with no cover and 2 loose bed sheets sliding everywhere.

The bathroom floor is unheated, remaining wet and cold. Basic amenities are lacking; you get a bar of soap, an all-purpose gel, and one roll of toilet paper. The showerhead is fixed.

The bathtub was dirty, showing visible mold. The room floor was dusty, requiring me to clean it myself. On top of the clean beach towels left for me, I found a filthy black plastic bag containing a toilet plumbing tool. Disgusting.

Laundry is very expensive. On average, cleaning one piece costs 7 euros.

The beach is about 20 minutes away (took me 30 minutes to return due to the uphill walk).

The food variety is vast and delicious. To give you and example, I would be cutting beef steak into pieces put it on a pizza and top that with fries and chicken meat balls then eat that mountain. This is how delicious the food was.

Same for desert. Collection of cakes, jelly, ice cream. I would take a piece of cake put a layer of that delicious red jelly on it then top it with a ball of chocolate ice cream and decorate it with caramle sauce and wash down all that deliciousness with a cup of pineapple juice. I was eating into a heart attack for sure.

There is a pool bar and a sunset bar. There is a snack place by the pool. There is a bar by the beach you can get same inclusive stuff for free or a meal with 20% discount.

There is a bar on the way from the reception to the restaurant. It includes theater for magic shows, an outside smoking area and coin operated pool table. They played very loud music and same songs for kids. Couldn't sit in that area at all.

Christmas dinner was a menu. It was good and at least fresh and warm.

Massage chair is not included. Would have been nice to get like a 1 time of a 30min massage.

The view is stunning, with ample sunshine, warm sunset and a view of the ocean, beach, nearby hotels, and water park. The unregulated pool temperatures, colder than the surrounding atmosphere, dissuading most from swimming.

There are shuttle bus takes you to the beach but it only runs 3 or 4 times a day with lots of delays. There is a bus that takes to Puerto de Mogán that runs once a day.

There is a shop inside the hotel selling essential stuff. The prices are 3 to 4 euros more than outside shops. There is an amusement arcade space

Surprisingly, there's no gym here. Disappointing considering the...

Check in Transfer took 1.5 hours as the hotel is the last stop. Easy check-in, though staff didn’t realise we were all inclusive plus and tried to upsell us. I’d informed them it was my partner’s birthday, but aside from a bottle of cava (which was already part of our premium all inclusive plus package), no special recognition. They offered a €25 cake, which we declined. Jet2, however, left a thoughtful handwritten card—small gestures like this go a long way.

The food Food is widely available, especially from the snack bars between 10am–5/6pm (hotdogs, burgers, toasties, salad, etc.). Lunch was good, though we usually stuck with the snack bars. Dinner featured a rotating menu with meats, salads, and show-cooked vegetables. Themes changed nightly, but weren’t advertised, so hard to plan. Mexican night was great; Chinese night disappointing. Quality varied—some nights were great, others underwhelming. Veggie/vegan options are limited. Breakfast was decent, though fried eggs were routinely undercooked and had to be requested fresh. Drinks in the restaurant are self-serve. For a decent coffee, you need to queue upstairs—Egypt definitely had better service.

Drinks Mostly self-serve: beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee. Spirits and cocktails require bar service. The cava (on tap and bottled) was undrinkable, despite being a reason we chose the hotel. Premium cocktails are handmade but missing ingredients like simple syrup. All packages include Pimms, Irish cream, and flavoured liqueurs. Premium didn’t feel worth the upgrade—no meaningful difference in options or enforcement. Nespresso was limited to the Sunset bar and restaurant; no good coffee poolside.

The rooms We stayed in block 3, close to amenities. Rooms had the basics: safe, TV + HDMI, hairdryer, etc., but lacked shampoo/conditioner and a socket for electric toothbrushes/shavers. Bring your own extensions and converters. Cleaning was inconsistent—sandy floors, skipped cleans, and towel shortages despite following reuse protocols.

The beach Food and drinks are available, but the shuttle is infrequent and poorly timed. The walk is long, steep, and unsuitable for those with limited mobility. Sunbeds cost €5 and umbrellas €3—not hotel-run. Consider bringing a picnic blanket. Note: topless sunbathing is common and unregulated.

The pool Nice pool with sun all day—but sunbed reservations are out of control. Staff don’t enforce their own rules, and beds sit reserved all day. Music loops endlessly after a few days. Aqua aerobics ran most mornings; one day featured special pool exercise machines, but they weren’t a daily option. No gym on site.

Other guests Mostly French and older (50s–60s). We were among the youngest. Felt a bit cliquey—less social than other holidays. Only met a few other Brits.

Staff Cynthia, Yanette, Norberto and Javier stood out positively. Some staff were disengaged or unapproachable. Not all spoke English, which is fine, but a lack of effort to resolve issues was frustrating—especially when I found a fly in the food and no one followed up.

Puerto Mogan Book the shuttle days in advance. The market isn’t worth it—lots of typical tourist goods. Public transport is tricky, with indirect routes and long return trips.

Would we go again? Maybe. The all inclusive beach access is a real plus, but not much else nearby without travel. Buses are cheap but unreliable. Good for relaxing, less so for exploring or socialising.

This was my first holiday as a solo traveller, have to say I felt at home here very quickly. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I arrived at midnight and despite how late it was I was offered something to eat in the restaurant which I politely declined. I was taken to my room which was up in the heavens (3 lifts up!) I went straight to bed when I got to my room, the beds are actually very comfortable. Unfortunately I had to wear ear plugs as I could hear a lot from other rooms due to lack of sound proofing. I could also hear the waves from the sea which was a shame I had to plug that out too. When I woke up the following morning I pulled the curtains back to find an absolutely stunning view of the Taurito Bay. I went down to breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to find everything you could possibly think of. I enjoyed my first breakfast so much I ended up skipping lunch (I was rather full!) There were plenty of activities going on every day throughout the week held by the fantastic animation team. (They all worked so hard and got us involved, shout out to Pedro!) I took part in archery and darts and had a lot of fun. I spent a few days lazing by the adult pool which although wasn’t heated, you did have the benefit of an exclusive self service bar which had a range of soft drinks, beer and sangria and there were always sun beds available. The days I did have lunch at the snack bar there was a decent choice of food including burgers, hot dogs, pizza, chips, salad, fruit, cakes and ice cream. I did venture down to the main pool later in the afternoon which was heated and had another bar which was manned. One of the things I loved about this hotel was every room had a balcony overlooking the bay with a fantastic view of the sunsets each evening! Dinner each night was very good… I stayed for 10 nights and the food was different every evening! They had themed nights too… Spanish, Italian, Asian, etc. For the first half of my stay I spent my evenings at the Sunset bar which was a nice bar to chill at with a decent range of drinks with local brands as well as premium well known brands (not included in all inclusive.) For the second half of my stay I spent my evenings after dinner watching the entertainment and I have to say most of it was very good. Afterwards the animation team would pop up (I did say before they work very hard!) and do free bingo with some prizes on offer! If you want to get out without breaking the bank there are two free buses from the hotel… one return journey every day to Puerto Mogán which is a good day out with its shops, bars, marina and pretty buildings. The other free bus takes you to and from the beach several times a day. It’s a lovely beach with sun beds (not free/included as I found out!) and you have another added benefit of the hotel having a beach bar which (apart from selected food and drinks) is included with the all inclusive! Overall I had a great time staying here. My only two negatives were with the rooms which are a little dated but clean and comfortable. Also the lack of soundproofing, take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Despite this I would recommend the hotel and even stay here again. It caters well for families, couples and solo...

This is no way a 4 star hotel. The rooms are very tired and in need of a refresh. We sadly had multiple problems during our stay but decided to just try and make the most of the holiday, however if we had booked longer than a week then we probably would have looked into switching hotels. The shower door wouldn't close properly in our bathroom, so the floor would get really wet. The bed was rock hard and we had to ask for extra pillows as we were only provided with one per person. The second bed in the suite was a pull out sofa bed, and while this was as described, there were no covers provided other than a sheet and a scratchy blanket. We asked for a cover along with the extra pillows but unfortunately we didn't receive anything. The door handle on a connecting door was loose, and had a screw sticking out of it that hurt my hand as I didn't see it. The big glass sliding mirror wardrobe door came off the hinges while being opened, and thankfully was caught before it hurt our daughter. The maintenance guy attended and fixed it, but it will likely happen again due to the age and state of the furniture. The worst issue was our room and adjacent room in the suite would often smell strongly of cigarette smoke, which seemed to come through the air-conditioning system from people smoking in the hotel. We complained and a cleaner came to check, but confirmed what we thought was happening, and the smoke was coming through the air-con system, and there was nothing we could do other than switch it off. Tough choice when it's 34 degrees. The food was ok, certainly not 4 star though. You have to pay extra for fresh orange juice, otherwise it's some cordial based juice drink. The meat and fish was a little greasy, and some days you didn't know what was being served as the sign would just show 'grilled fish'. Lunch was pretty much just pizza and hot dogs, and the variety wasn't there as lots of food was repeated throughout breakfast, lunch and dinner over the week. We ended up eating out often despite being all inclusive. On a positive, the staff in the hotel are helpful and the service in the restaurant was good. There are 3 good swimming pools, and an adult only pool for a quieter experience. The views are beautiful, with the hotel being on a hill and most rooms have a sea view balcony. There are a lot of steps due to this, so worth noting. There is a local beach and a shuttle bus that runs free of charge both ways. You get use of the beach club, and the food and drink available. The local beach has some great water sports available to book as well. The location is a bit out of the way for anything else though, and you'll pay about 25€ to get a taxi into Puerto de Mogán each way. All in all we wouldn't choose this hotel again, as things that are important to us as a family are just not there. I'm also really struggling to understand how this can claim to be a 4 star hotel; it is 3 star at best food wise, and lower with regards to the room (pictures attached showing the furniture in our room).
