Sunset Taurito Restaurant & Beach Bar — Restaurant in Mogán

We had a beautiful family meal at Sunset Taurito Restaurant which actually had us return for another meal on our last night of our holiday! What is impeccable is that staff are very attentive, extremely friendly and give you time to enjoy your food. Nothing is too much trouble and they provided heaters and throws in the winter months! My husband and I went for the Grilled Meats sharing platter for two, served with gran canaria potatoes and fresh roasted vegetables. It was absolutely Devine, two types of Beef steak, chicken, bacon and some extremely tasty sausages. To be honest we were pretty full about 3/4 of the meal though we wanted to finish it as everything was soooooo good and well cooked.

You can chose to have your steak cooked to your liking. We chose the mushroom sauce as our accompaniment. Our son had a very generous kids portion of Spaghetti Bolognaise with garlic bread which he loved! What was lovely was that the Chef, Chef Khalid came out to thank us, as we sent compliments on his cooking skills with the friendly waiter. Chef Khalid offered to cook us his Speciality Dish of Fish if we came back on the Saturday, which we did! I had Salmon Fillets in Champagne Sauce which literally was one of the best dishes I have ever had! Mixed Mediterranean vegetables paired with the fish perfectly. The sauce was a high point for me, this is what I will seek out if I ever eat Salmon in a restaurant again, it was simply Devine! The waiters can also talk about the wine selection they offer and we had a beautiful red wine both nights. Deserts are equally as well prepared with the Panacotta being a high point! Absolutely true cooking skills by Chef Khalid who has studied cookery in many countries in Europe. The restaurant is quite new and a family business and we wish them very success with this venture. It is clear they work hard and take care of their customers! We also had a complimentary childs desert and toasted our meal at the end with a caramel liquor shot! We we certainly return ~...

We visited this fantastic restaurant several times during our stay in Taurito in June. Absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The service is second to none. The staff are delightful and the food is just tremendous. They all could not do more to assist, help and entertain you. Chatty, kind, friendly and caring. It definitely made our holiday visiting here. We feel we have made friends for life. I cannot recommend this place enough. I arranged a birthday meal too for a family member when we were there. Balloons, cake and decorations all arranged. The restaurant itself is spotless the toilets lovely and a team that seriously cannot do enough for you. Thank you soo much Sunset Team. A good location to escape the hassle of the all inclusive hotels. We were served very nice and felt very comfortable. There are three large flatscreens on which football and rugby ran, but in the other direction of view is the beach, so also something for not sporty enthusiastic. Particularly noteworthy were the exciting vegetarian spinach croquettes which we got on request. The salad with goat cheese was unfortunately not to our taste, the criticism thereupon was very well received.
