The hotel makes a great first impression — it looks like a 5-star property and is kept spotlessly clean thanks to the staff, who work tirelessly to maintain it.||We stayed in a superior family room with a golf course view, which offered peace and quiet. The room was spacious, and the bed was absolutely huge — probably the most comfortable hotel bed and pillows I’ve experienced so far. The only downsides were the lack of a shower door and the absence of either a toilet window or a functioning extractor fan, which unfortunately allowed unpleasant odors to drift into the room.||The food was generally good, though not consistently so. The kitchen staff work very hard, but it was clear they were stretched thin with the number of guests. Popular dishes often created long queues, and the buffet area was too small to accommodate everyone at once. As a result, meal times were split into two slots, and we ended up having dinner every night after 9:15 p.m. — much later than we would have preferred. Still, we chose to make the most of it and enjoy our holiday.||The pizzas were excellent, but unfortunately only available once or twice a week. This was a bit disappointing, especially for my son, who’s a picky eater and loved them.||Guests staying longer than five nights are entitled to one “à la carte” dinner at one of the three specialty restaurants. We weren’t informed of this by the hotel and only discovered it through other reviews. When we tried the Italian restaurant, we asked to sit outside, but were told there was no availability,(as soon as we started speaking english her tone changed)even though only two tables were occupied. Moments later, a French couple arrived and were seated outside without issue. The service wasn’t particularly warm, but we didn’t let it spoil our evening and still left a tip.||On a more positive note, the bartenders were excellent — always polite and hardworking. The beer (Amstel) was served ice-cold, which I appreciated as a beer enthusiast. You can pour it yourself from the tap or get it at the bar. Cocktails were also available both alcoholic and alcohol-free, and unlike many hotels, they weren’t watered down.||Overall, I would rate this hotel 8/10. For a 4-star property, it offers great value for money.||A few additional notes: the location can be very windy at times, so swimming in the sea isn’t always possible due to strong waves. The water is also quite deep, making it unsuitable for...
Read moreAs I check out from my 7 nights stay at this hotel i feel the urge to write this comment because no one asked me at the reception. First, the good things: Buildings are well maintained. Surroundings are amazing. Adult pool area is nice (when guest are not making extreme noise) Now, for the bad things: Starting at checking - the map they give you is not correct. Specially if you are staying at Granada Building - the acess they tell you to go is no longer an access - it's the adult's pool. Indications are not good and the building's name is not clear. Food served at the main restaurant is not 4 star. I have stayed in many four star hotels in the south of Spain and this was by far, the worst in terms of food. There was plenty of food, but very poor quality. Breakfast was always the same. No variations, no eggs station, always the same puff pastry cakes. Fruit was also poor quality. And fruit salad was made of canned fruit. I guess that says it all. For dinner, many options but always very poor quality. Deserts were always the same. Now, for the animation team, only good if you are a french guest. Otherwise forget about animation. I went to the animation staff and asked were i could book the table tenis to play. They said i didn't need booking and gave me a ball and both raquets. AfteR 15 minutes of play one of the staff comes yelling at us, saying we could not play. Imagine my surprise! It was an absolute disaster. After that I wanted to go to the reception to make a formal complain and guess what? At least 30 people waiting because out of 4 employes only one was actually working. The other three were just looking at him. So it was impossible to complain to them. I gave up. Not to mention that the hotel guests are extremely noisy all the time. Only time of peace were in our morning walks by the beach. As i sad before, at check out, no one asked me about my stay. I honestly think that is an extreme lack of professionalism. I could talk about many things but I just feel the effort is not worth it. I hope this helps other people not to make the same mistake as I did. Btw, the only reason they have such good comments is because they make a challenge for guests to comment so they can win a spa treatment. And honestly, not worth it. Spa is just a jacuzzi, sauna and a small pool. Massage was good but the spa itself, not worthy.

very friendly staff - most of them speak some level of English and they are very friendly and have a warmth in them you wouldn’t find elsewhere! Very hospitable! The only staff who can’t speak in English are a few of the housekeeping staff but we were able to communicate using a translation app so found no issues with this at all
Amazing location - you get the sun right throughout the year. We woke up to go see the sunrise and it was one of the best I’ve seen in my life! The sunsets are magical as well! You need to walk about two minutes from the hotel’s beachfront, towards the left and you’ll catch the best view of the sunrise
Food - amazing choices and they don’t repeat the same food throughout the week for lunch and dinner - they mix up different cuisines for different days.
Other: We saw some reviews that said the rooms were cold but we found nothing wrong with the heating. We went there during the Christmas week and the heating worked very well!
They had organised many activities for adults and kids during the Christmas period to keep them engaged - this was a great initiative by the hotel!
The Christmas Eve dinner was so nicely organised and pulled off!
The only thing that was ever so slightly upsetting for me was that all three of their pools were closed when we went and the only open one was the indoor pool attached to the spa and you have to pay each time you use it and it’s time capped for 75 minutes. This wasn’t clearly communicated to us when we booked it as we were really looking forward to do quite a bit of swimming in the holiday. We did go for the spa option to swim and also used the Turkish baths and sauna (these were great too!) They clarified this for us that they close the pools the last fifteen days of the year cause it gets cold for any swimming to be done. We’d like to suggest to keep at least one of the three pools open though, as there were a lot of people in the resort and some of them resorted to go swimming in the beach. It would be good to have an option whether the water is cold or not :)
All in all a great resort with some amazing people working there - always with a smile and always...
