We went there for the menú del día.We sat at a table at street level, facing the Plaza del Astillero. I went inside to inquire about service. The first waiter, an experienced man, was kind and mentioned that if we wanted the menú del día, we'd have to bring out the food from the inside ourselves, as they only did drinks and small appetizers in that section. That seemed reasonable to me. A few minutes later, I went in to ask for the food we wanted. This time, the person I spoke to was a young waiter in his early 20s, with black curly hair, and all dressed in black. He was extremely rude from the get go. He said that the menú del día was only served in a different section and could not be possibly had where we were sitting. He pointed at the area where it was being served and pretty much ordered me to go there. When I said I'd be back to let him know what we'd decide, he didn't even look at me. Needless to say, we left, not that anybody cared about it. We went to Casa de Marinos, where we had no issue sitting wherever there was an open table and had a terrific meal, with great service all around. No fuss, great chef. I highly...

AVOID, TRAP! What a shame, a place with that location serving such bad food. The self service menu has a few dishes that the normal menu doesn’t have and viceversa, otherwise I see no advantage in having to set your own table, picking up your drinks at the bar and paying in advance. The prices of the food are absolutely unacceptable for the quality. Two tiny pieces of (frozen) fish with four fried potato slices and some green salad for 18,50€?!?! The Hotel was very nice with extremely helpfull and welcoming personel. Staled over two time of total 3 night, the last night they only had one room left (very small) but when the lady saw we were 2 grown men sharing she upgraded us to the suite (thanks).
