What a disgusting place.. I don't leave bad reviews but had to regarding this place. To start with a child's menu for my 7 year old was 22€ which was expensive in my opinion. But I said to myself it must be worth it.. How mistaken I was.. You'd think a piece of pan fried chicken and chips would be fairly easy to cook..Wrong again.. To send out a piece of chicken for a child that was raw and I mean raw I think is totally unacceptable and when it was sent back to the kitchen they chopped it up refried it and sent it back on the same plate with potatoes that obviously had been cooked that morning and cooked again 4 times..Totally inedible. Next up the fish course, in all our years of eating around Europe and beyond this has to be the worst.. A poor piece of Sea Bass that obviously had been shown the grill at least twice before that day and smelled rotten served with potatoes that had been half cooked that morning and reheated in the microwave absolutely disgusting. Needless to say I complained and was met with the most ignorant manager I've ever had the displeasure of meeting who barked through google translate on how that is the way fish is cooked in Bilbao. I told her I doubt that and asked the question was that how they cooked chicken in Bilbao also but she didn't understand.. Didn't help matters that another manager was looking out and laughing at the situation either. I had to feel sorry for the lady sitting across from us as well..She ordered the ribs by the looks of it and that's exactly what she got a plate of bones, she was in total shock I wouldn't have given them to my dog and that's a fact. I hope they enjoy the 97€ I gave them as it will be there last and I hope people read this review and stay clear of this...
Read moreWe came to town and this restaurant specifically for some good lobster Paella. Found this restaurants with some good feedbacks online, so we gave it a try. It was around 1.30pm and the kitchen still serving, so we got a table on their wonderful terrace overlooking the boardwalk and river. Our Bulldog was welcome as well. We asked for the Paella Bogavante (lobster Paella) and it was available. But since it's made by order with a bit of a waiting time. We didn't mind, since we prefer when the meal is freshly prepared. Worth the wait.
We ordered a tasty bottle of Rosé and a starter to share. A plate of salty green beans with pieces of jamon and Foie Gras on top. An unlikely combination. But what a fantastic dish! Really gonna try to recreate that at home. Wonderful.
The Paella came with a nice lobster, perfectly cooked. And also some langoustines, calamari and mussels. Rice was nicely done and the seafood broth rich and full of flavours. A really fantastic meal. And at 29 Euros a person a fair deal.
Staff was great. Friendly and helpful. Also there was no rush, we took our time to enjoy the meal and really had a great time here at this restaurant. Definitely a place we will come back to next time in...
Read moreI am utterly disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I cannot believe they serve such terrible food to their customers. To make matters worse, the staff cannot speak English, which is simply absurd in this day and age. The burger I ordered was disgusting—completely inedible. The meat was bland, lacking any seasoning whatsoever. The bun was soggy, and the onions were greasy and tasteless, again with no seasoning.
I have never in my life eaten such revolting food. It’s a disgrace for any chef to serve such a dish. Whoever is cooking here has less skill than a five-year-old trying to make a meal....
