Hotel Estrella del Alemar — Hotel in Ribamontán al Mar

Long story short: that's what I expect from 3 star hotel, really nice and affordable place.

People operating the hotel are super nice and helpful, so first of all you are greeted with smile. Our hotel room was comfortable, not too small with spacious, clean bathroom. Towels were replaced every day when room was cleaned. Breakfast is nice, though I personally would love a less Spanish breakfast option too, like scrambled eggs etc. Normally they serve fresh coffee, with hot croissant or tosts. You can eat cereal and fruits too. We didn't use it, but parking space is quite big. If you are intermediate or better surfer on vacation, there is no problem to keep rented (there is great rental in Somo) gear in the garage and dry your wetsuits there. As a minor inconveniences there were nights when I heard people snoring through the walls, though I suffer from too good hearing and hotel is placed in really quiet place. General advice for everyone should be always carry your earbuds :) Finally it's worth to mention, while staying - be prepared to eat either before or after siesta, all dinings will be closed between 4 to 8 here...

I went there twice with my family to learn how to surf. The owners are very nice and friendly. The rooms are all right and the food for breakfast, though simple ( sobao, croissant with jam and butter, cereals with milk) was good. Is quite close to the beach, no need to use a car. The only things that I didn't like was the lack of a refrigerator in the room (no way to store perishable food) and the low natural lighting - all the windows are covered with reflective coating and decrease the sunlight level a lot, giving it a yellowish tint. Stayed here for one night and regretted that it was only for one night 🥺! We are very satisfied, the rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable, we had a room with a beautiful terrace! The bathroom was comfortable and had everything we needed! There is a parking lot and a swimming pool! The territory is calm, great for relaxation! The breakfast is simple and tasty, the opportunity to have breakfast outside - respect♥️! The staff is friendly, the girl who met us has a very pleasant voice! They gave us water on the road! People are attentive and considerate of their customers! We will gladly come here again!...
