Apartaments Blanco Sol — Hotel in Sant Josep de sa Talaia

The place was nice and tidy but a few issues. Whilst the location seems fine, it is not near a taxi stand which means we had to order a taxi which proves almost impossible - we’d have to wait hours (this is no exaggeration, and we were consistently late to things due to such a long wait). So as a result we had to use the car service they offered on some nights as no taxi was coming. This was double the price of the standard fare. The place is also not around any food places so we had to order food from here mostly which was limited and also most of the time they were only able to offer us pizza. We had a 2 bedroom place and only one room had a mirror, which for a bunch of girls in Ibiza is just not practical. I’d be happy to set all this aside but on check out they were extremely rude to my friend who checked out on behalf of all of us. They refused to allow us to stay a minute past 10am even though it was a Sunday and check in is not before 3pm. Not only that, but they added a whole bunch of things to the final bill that we didn’t even order, like 2 bottles of wine, we never ordered any drinks at the place so know they were just trying to rip us off. They also insisted on us taking out all the rubbish and throwing it out in the street rubbish bins which never in my life I’ve had to do at a hotel, Airbnb yes, but not a hotel! They said if we did not do this we wouldn’t get the deposit back. Overall this made the experience with them one that was very disappointing. Thank goodness the rest of Ibiza...

We went as family of three generations, from grandparents (us) down to grandson. We had a spacious three bedroom apartment, all air conditioned, with large well appointed kitchen with big three ring electric hob, microwave and coffee percolator machine (no kettle so took own travel kettle). The apartment was spotlessly clean, with towels and bedding changed every two days. There is a really good supermarket (and cash machine) only 5 mins walk, so made breakfast and lunch for ourselves every day at our apartment. But the food at the Apartmentos Blanco Sol restaurant is also fantastic- cooked by a brilliant team - really delicious. Ate there several times. Two lovely pools, which we and our grandson loved. Plenty of sun beds round the pools, and also big shade area over tables and chairs forvthe restaurant. The beach is a 20-25 min walk downhill from the hotel - nice beach, good restaurants and shops, but a slog to get back up from on foot - woukd suggest booking taxi or the hotel’s own minibus (driven by the sons) to collect you. Not cheap, but was worth it for 7 of us. The hotel is within 40-45 mins drive from San Antonio and Ibiza old town, and about 35 mins from airport. Taxis from any of those places will get you there for about €35. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the family that run the hotel are brilliant-...

Very nice apartments. We've had a 4-bedroom apartment, I read about the complaints that these were located at the bottom of the complex and that the view is bad, this is correct however we were there with small kids (1 &3) and this was perfect for us! It provided us with a nice enclosed area where the kids could play around without us having to focus on them falling down the stairs. I also believe the enclosed area is slightly bigger than the balcony we would have otherwise had. So this was perfect.||||The kitchen was okay for holiday cooking. I don;t expect a huge kicthen with all the supplies like at home. But the pots and pans were enough for us to cook, and we've had a bigger refrigerator than we expected. ||||The rooms are simple and nice. All accommodated with vans at the sealing (not airco). It was warm so the vans were needed.||||There are 2 swimming pools and a nice restaurant. Also the supermarket was good, no more expensive than the supermarket at the corner of the street. The bread in the morning is fresh!||||The owners have good contacts in case you need to rent a car. And the prices are perfect. (You do need a car though as the walk to the beach with 2 small kids is too far away in the warm weather.||||We've enjoyed our 2 weeks...
