Hotel Flysch — Hotel in Zumaia

This hotel is fantastic. The rooms and public areas are well equipped, clean, modern and interestingly decorated. The breakfast is varied and includes fresh fruit. The hotel is in a fantastic location only a few minutes easy walk to both the town and the beautiful beach with its very unusual rocks, as seen in Game of Thrones. The surrounding area is interesting, with easy access to a variety of places on a very good public transport system. But the best thing about this hotel is their lovely helpful and friendly staff. On arrival and throughout our stay everyone was great. We were unlucky enough to take ill with bad colds and decided to cut the holiday short and return home. The lady on reception was sympathetic, we were not charged a cancellation fee and she organised the refund from Expedia for us, as we just wanted to get away, which was emailed us later the same day. This hotel is just amazing. It is an modern hotel, with conveniently furnished and very comfortable rooms. What makes it worthwhile is its amazing location, just 5 minutes from everywhere. The walk to the breathtaking cliff called the Flysch, featured in Games of Thrones, from which the hotel takes its name, is also very short. The walk to the stunning beach, where all the 🏄‍♀️ go, is maybe ten minutes, and so are all of the coolest restaurants and pinxos bars.|But the kindness and helpfulness of staff at this hotel is something really noteworthy. If you are thinking of visiting the area, definitely consider this place because it will make it easy to enjoy the whole of stunning Zumaia. Newly opened (2017-07) family run hotel. We randomly found this hotel since it was one of the few hotels in the area that wasn't fully booked, and what a luck!

The hotel staff is amazing! Really nice people that strive to give you a nice stay and feel welcome!

The room we got was really nice, with a big bed, modern styled interior and a big modern bathroom. Everything was super clean and a high standard that exceeded our expectations! Really good value for money. Breakfast is excellent, and the staff is super-attentive, providing you with whatever you might feel is missing.
