Galle Paradise Inn — Hotel in Galle

We stayed here to explore Galle. From booking Dammika was friendly and helpful checking that we knew the location and if we needed any extra support. We took the bus from Colombo and stopped near to the house. On arrival his relative picked us up and took us to the house. The house is located around 15 - 20 minutes walk from the beach in a beautiful, peaceful location surrounded by fruit trees and jungle. During our stay we saw lots of beautiful birds and even a troop of elusive Southern purple faced leaf monkeys (photo a bit blurry!)|The rooms were both comfortable with fans provided. The room we got for $8 was reasonable for that price. The room had a big double bed, mirror, towel rack and a cupboard. The shared bathroom was very clean and came with hot water. When we were heading out the owner offered to give us a free ride in his tuk, which I regard as great customer service. He also came to pick us up when we phoned him saying that we are walking from the main road. We also got a 100% discount (of about $1) for the morning bed teas we ordered since it...

Before reaching galle station a tuk tuk was arranged by paradise inn to pick us up. We stayed only one night. Beautiful place, mostly like a jungle. We saw a huge Dragon lizard. The experience was out of the world. Excellent Sri Lankan food. Thanks to that lady who prepared it well. Pleasant stay, good place for sightseeing.
