I do not know whether the management here has changed since other trip advisor guests visited this hotel. But our experience over this weekend was horrible. The room had no mosquito net and was infested with a swarm of some insects which filled all the beds in the room, Their bites were stinging. There was no caretaker overnight. When we wanted to go for a religious event starting at night in Tissa temple, we found that we were locked in. The manager had locked all the doors and gone apparently for the "security of guests" . But even for an emergency nobody could have got out of the hotel in the night, After many calls and running around we finally got the door opened. When we came back after the event early morning we found out that we were locked out and there was now way to get in. This was after we informed at check in that we have to go for the event at night and get back early morning.||Totally arrogant behaviour of the manager- They charge VAT/Service Charge extra.- So be careful when you book a room here to ask for total amount.||||The whole place seemed deserted and not occupied by any guests in recent times. No food...

They packed us a delicious and sumptuous breakfast all in a jiffy! On return they served dinner, of which portions were substantially great and very tasty. The rooms were specticularly clean especially mentioning there were no mosquitos. The courteous staff made us very comfortable, which led us to extend our stay.||I should mention this hotel could be one of the best you can get in the area of Tissamaharama.||I have no hesitation to recommend any one to stay here if you are looking for a clean and...

I am happy to state that during our stay of 3 days this time too we had the experience of the friendly and homely services extended by the staff of this beautifully located hotel. The hotel had the fully occupancy and this may be due to the excellent food and other facilities of the hotel. This is very conveniently located and only 30 minute drive to the sacred Kataragama devale and Kirivehara. We hope to visit once again during the...
