This is a great hotel for a specific set of travelers. If you are looking for a simple place to stay with a few key perks (Great free breakfast! Great owners! Good location.), this place is a wonderful value. Key points: Excellent Swiss breakfast with everything including chocolate, hard boiled eggs, many kinds of beautiful bread, cereals, meats, cheeses, drinks, and fantastic coffee. Dinner is good value: 25 CHF for a starter and a main course of very generous proportions. Breakfast is included and consists of croissants, bread, fruits, coffee and hot chocolate. There is free outdoors parking at the hotel which is very convenient.|One interesting fact I learned while staying there is that this is actually the oldest hotel in Verbier which is still in operation! It was built in 1933 and while the some of the interior has been redone, the property still oozes old-school Swiss chalet charm....
