墾丁南灣渡假飯店 — Hotel in Hengchun

After 2 nights stay st Cheshing, kenting, we together 5 people stay in this hotel on 28 Dec 13, one four person,room and one honeymoon room, my husband and me and my friend stay at the four person room just as last time we did, my husband love this room much, no. 201 with a big balcony facing the nanwan, the room size is big, with recent new painting again as we stay here just at Oct before, that makes the room seems more bright, the room is clean, the beds are comfortable, the shower room with 按摩function, our friends room is the honeymoon room with no 310, also comfortable and facing the nanwan, reasonable price of two rooms at Saturday costing 5600TWD, the breakfast not too much but suitable to eat with comfotatable environment, the staffs there serving you when you take your breakfast are very polite and helpful and very clean, the front desk also very helpful and friengly with every possible chance to help you to solve any problems and hive useful suggestions, indeed in this three years I go to Taiwan over ten times, staying in different hotels, resorts,minsu, indeed this resort give me very good memory regarding its service, price, location. Easy access to other tourist location as heng Chun or kengting street, there are 客運station at the next side of the resort. I will come here again with my friends and introduce to them. In the special requests, I had asked if it was possible to get one of the jacuzzi rooms, but I knew it might not be possible. My payment went through and it was confirmed.

My gf and I waited until check in and were very tired after two nights camping, driving in the sun.

They informed us they had cancelled the reservation on account of their inability to provide a jacuzzi. I think they simply used this excuse because they overbooked.

They offered a family room (for 4 people) on the first floor with no view that looked nothing like any of the pictures for 600 ntd more. Excuse me, you cancelled my reservation, didn’t contact me about it, and now you want me to pay more?!

I see in the other reviews many say it doesn’t look like the pictures. Don’t expect a jacuzzi or a view, and expect it to be a LOT older than their pictures. Also, the driveway is super sketchy and a bit dangerous and it’s further away from Nanwan than it seems on Google as there’s not a convenient crosswalk near there.

I wouldn’t book this one online- ask to see the room before you pay.

Edit: the owner is lying in her reply. It was not s cancelled by the third-party app. The third party won’t cancel (and lose money), they informed me the request may not be met and I can’t cancel if it isn’t (and I knew that). If the third party (trips.com) had cancelled, they would’ve informed me, unlike this hotel.

We stayed at this bed and breakfast establishment for three nights at the end of July. It is a complex of a main building where the reception is and a series of bedroom blocks. Staff were friendly enough, and spoke local Chinese only.||||Due to booking arrangements we had to stay in three different rooms, which was a little inconvenient but at least we saw quite a lot of the B&B.||||The rooms were all decently sized with a double bed, chair and table but wardrobe space was lacking in some rooms. Decor in all of them was a bit quirky. In all rooms the bathroom was not separated by a door or partition, so make sure you are comfortable with your travelling companion. All our rooms had a bathtub in the open area and some of them were jacuzzis, which was nice. The shower amenities came in little sachets, of which more were available on request. Towels could have been a little softer. Some of the rooms also had a balcony and we booked all with a sea view.||||Their breakfast buffet did not have the greatest of choices, with mostly local food and after three days it was a little boring.||||There is no gym facility but you can wash your clothes in their laundry should you wish.||||It is about a 10 minute walk to the Nam Wan beach and a short bus ride to Kenting's main street so is conveniently located.
