Foung Jia Hotel — Hotel in Magong City

The hotel room was small, comfortable and very clean. The price we paid was reasonable. The receptionist can speak a little bit of English, we were really grateful for that. The breakfast was another story. The staff working there are unfriendly. The coffee and food were cold, 3 morning in a row. There were not enough plates for the guests and they had to ask. Some started to use saucers as plates. When you ask the staff for a plate they give it to you wet. They look annoyed and we felt like we were bothering them. Really a bad atmosphere every single morning. We ate there three times. It is a pity, a vacation should be a happy experience and it is nice to wake up with warm coffee and a friendly good morning when you go for breakfast. Overall I think the accommodation was good and enjoyable. I think management should look into this problem. Trip advisor you could contact them and maybe share this with them in private and only post the positive things...

The hotel location is not bad, a few hundred meters from the ferry port but quite a bit of a walk from downtown (2km+) The hotel itself is quite old and dated but it's clean; if you aren't a very picky person, it is serviceable for the cost.
