Hotel located on the heights of Taichung. Spacious everywhere: a huge but welcoming lobby, friendly staff, semi luxury in Europe of the 4 star type. That's not to mention the spacious bedroom (2 king size beds plus a sofa bed)... you can move in as you please on 35 m2, two toilets and a modern bathroom where everything works perfect. You are offered a kettle, an Espresso machine, tea, a stocked fridge and welcome snacks – all included. I'd tone 2 elements down, however: the air conditioning never drops below 24°C and the TV sound is blocked very low (we don't understand why since the rooms are very well soundproofed). Hence the reason why I am only granting 4 stars. The breakfast is really tasty: Taiwanese and international, very generous. Chinese and Japanese restaurants inside, we only tasted the second one: it was perfect. Very recommendable hotel anyway even if a little far from the city centre - but perfectly suitable for families with children: generously sized swimming pools, water park in the same resort, and a village outlet 200m away for shopping...
Read moreWhen entering this hotel from the bus stop there is an unusual feeling as it appears everything is closed down, however once you go up 2 floors to reception the environment totally changes and the hotel is great. Note if using the free shuttle bus it was late each time we used it, but it did arrive and was very convenient from Houli Elementary School (near Houli station).
We stayed in a 'Line Friends' room which was very expensive but it was wonderful nonetheless. Everything was themed to Line Friends - including the free amenities (toothbrushes, slippers etc). The room was large, clean and had free snacks. A must-stay for any fans of Brown & Friends!

Our room had one queen-size bed and a Japanese style room where two people can sleep on the wooden floor (with thin mattress). However, the mattress was too thin for my daughter because she was used to sleep on normal, soft mattress.
