This hotel is easy to recommend for the friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness of the hotel and rooms, and relatively easy access to Taoyuan airport (20 mins in a taxi). However, visitors should be aware that the hotel itself has almost nothing of interest outside the front door - you'll need to walk 10- 15 minutes for access to a train station or the local Gloria Outlets mall (or get a taxi from the front desk.) Note that if you NEED a cup of coffee, there is an attached coffee shop next door, and guests may be offered a discount ticket (although naturally it is not open 24/7). We had a family room, which was very small but well-appointed, with all the amenities you'd need for a short stay. It was spotlessly clean with plenty of international sockets, a TV, and a small desk. Breakfast was a buffet, served between 6.00 and 10.00 am. Although there was only a shower and no bath, we were happy to find that the small selection of soft-drinks were included at no charge, and a kettle and small selection of teas and drop coffee was available. There was also a small safe, hairdryer, and some very limited clothes hanging space. A gym is also available. As the hotel is non-smoking, I was happy that the room smelled fresh. Wifi in the rooms worked perfectly and was available free of charge. If I didn't need to be in central Taipei and only had a short stay near the airport, I'd definitely come again. If you DO need to get into Taipei, the local High Speed Rail station runs regularly, and there are occasional shuttle buses...
