My flight was delayed due to typhoon and with so many uncertainties plus touching down at 2.30am, finding a hotel to put up for the night is a chore. Bluewater Hotel was not my first choice but glad I stumbled upon it.||||Lets start with the staff. Arriving at wee hours of 3am,they are ever so friendly and welcoming. Even until the point of check out, the staff are so helpful providing me tips on the best and cheapest way to head to Taipei. I did not manage to get your names but thank you to each of you.||||I got myself a room with shared bathroom. The room is very clean with sufficient amenities. The common shared bathroom is very clean as well and I am seriously impressed. ||||An added plus point is the little counter which provides drinking water and some biscuits. Perfect for a tired traveller like me. No breakfast included but they have do-it-yourself-toast bread. Sufficient to kickstart my day.||||From the moment I left this hotel, I have been promoting it. If I were to choose again, this will be my...
Read moreVery bare room without window, even though I asked for it. The price is very cheap, and for what it is, a quick fix awaiting for the flight, it was fine. I had to get to the airport at 5am, and the 2 people at the front desk didn't even know at what time buses start running (9am) or the time of the first MRT train (6am) even though the station is literally a 5-minute walk from the hotel, so I had to figure it out myself. That is pretty basic information when your sole purpose is to serve customers wanting to get to the airport asap. They did offer a taxi service but at an outrageous price. Again though, when all other hotels are 3x the price, you get what you get. The tiny room was super clean and the bed was comfortable with what seemed brand new sheets and pillows. Shared bathrooms and showers are well-maintained and clean. Overall, no real complain, but the staff should know...
Read moreI stayed one night before a very early morning flight and it was exactly what I wanted.
It was an easy walk from the Taoyuan HSR station.
Sunniva at the front desk was lovely - gave me a warm welcome and was kind and helpful, answering all my questions. The hotel also provides free buns and coffee late night and all morning, which is a nice touch.
I booked a private room, and although small, the room was thoughtfully designed and had everything you need. Also had high ceilings and windows so it felt airy and not cramped.
The shared bathrooms were clean and nice.
And the free shuttle to the airport was so convenient and stress free.
Overall this place was great and comfortable. The staff are super and provide excellent service, and the value...
