Ski Lodge — Hotel in Xiulin

It is an okay place to stay for a maximum of two nights. The price is good and you get breakfast and dinner included. However the rooms you will have to share with others. I don’t mind this however the hostel puts one bed too many in the room, i think. So if it is full you have no place to put your things really or hang up your coat or wet towel to dry( they put a bed right under the coat rack). The toilets are squat only and a bit dirty. The window frames in the rooms are also dusty as hell. On the plus side, heated futons are provided, which is a must as it can get quite chilly up here. For the price NT$1100 including breakfast and dinner in over 3000 meters altitude mountains, i think it is quite a bargain, and probably the best if you hike all Hehuan ranges and mt. Cilai. Wonderful lodge with good facilities and great food. The electric blanket keep you warm in the night. You can enjoy the jot shower at that place. It is one of the tallest hostel in Taiwan.
