Absolute shambles. The worst hotel I think I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are lovely & try very hard, but the rooms are AWFUL. I refused the first room offered..(an tiny ugly dark room on the ground floor with No net curtains that looked out onto a wall were the staff walk past), & stayed in 3 different rooms over 3 nights. In EVERY room there was multiple issues..basic things that need to work well in any room. Multiple lights didn’t work; electricity sockets not working; broken shower; there was a giant hole in the bath; (other) bath taps not working; fridge wasn’t working; no toilet paper; no towels; no WiFi etc etc etc The WiFi was terrible everywhere, with 4+ different ones that all required different passwords that none of the staff seemed to know. A seemingly small but very noticeable annoyance was the lack of bedside or side lamps in any of the rooms, so the only light was the bright fluorescent central lights. Not great practically or for ambiance. I had to visit reception at least 4 times every day to try to solve all the ongoing issues. On top of this the food was terrible, almost inedible. They clearly have 2 rooms that they use to advertise their hotel with a balcony that overlooks the garden, and the rest are shabby & with no view. The ONLY good thing the hotel has is the garden which is well kept & beautiful. Shame that most of the time it gets so cold in the evening that you must retreat to your horrible...

Don't come here. The hotel attendants will steal your money when they made me change rooms my 900 dollars was stolen. When I went back to look for the money there were five or six waiters standing in front of my room waiting for me, they knew I would come back to get the money so they waited there for me, of course I didn't find anything. They had hidden the stolen money. I cried and begged them to give me my money back, but they ignored me. The manager took me to see the surveillance. The CCTV was broken and everything was so coincidental. I called the police, but to no avail. After that, I had two more days of traveling in this hotel because they stole my money and I couldn't afford to buy food and had to eat one free breakfast a day. This hotel made me feel very bad about my trip to Tanzania 🇹🇿Safari, what a horrible memory. I don't think I will ever come here again. They are thieves. Stay away from this hotel. They...

The Charity Hotel We had the pleasure of recommending our clients to stay at Charity Hotel, and it was an outstanding experience. The hotel staff warmly welcomed our clients and ensured their check-in was smooth. The rooms were spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, offering a comfortable stay. The restaurant's delightful cuisine and attentive service impressed our clients. Charty Hotel's convenient location provided easy access to local attractions, making it an ideal choice for travelers exploring Tanzania. Charty Hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction made our partnership a success. We highly recommend Charty Hotel to anyone seeking a top-notch accommodation experience in Tanzania. We stayed at the Charity Hotel at the beginning and end of our seven-day Tanzania wildlife budget safari. For tour operators providing budget safaris, the Charity Hotel is an excellent choice. While older and in some ways showing her age (sink drain can be slow), this hotel still reflects much charm and character, from a beautiful wooden staircase to high ceilings throughout. The staff is exceptionally courteous and eager to assist. There is a beautiful garden area with tropical trees where guests can enjoy a meal or drinks. Food is good and reasonably priced. We were quite pleased to begin and end our safari by staying at the Charity Hotel.
