Positive: -Good price we had in booking -Clean modern bedrooms -Comfortable beds -Full mosquito nets -Hot water and clean bathroom -Peter is a responsive and helpful owner -Reliable, good WIFI

It is a bit out of the way but still possible to get a Bolt taxi to come. We were also the only guests there so it was quiet, which we liked, but other solo travellers may not like.

Negative: -Main one is the indifferent service we had from the hosts. They were definitely helpful, and not rude. But not as helpful or friendly as previous reviews suggested. And they quoted us prices that were too high for things like cooking dinner or doing laundry. However the owner is now aware of this and said he will fix the issue. -Other minor negative is the bathroom is quite small, and in a wet room style. So when you shower the whole room and the toilet gets wet. But it's a hot shower which is great.

I recommend Osotwa Masai Hostel for many reasons. Its cleanliness is wonderful, its rooms are fresh and spacious, the beds are very comfortable, shower with hot water, breakfast is a delight (with dishes and local fruit), you can cook, it is very well located in Sakina (near the main road , you can go to the center on foot or by public transport. From the hostel they will help you get local transport at a good price), it is safe, they can store your luggage if you go on safari, free wifi with good coverage, a very comfortable lounge and cozy, it has a small shared refrigerator in the kitchen in which you can put your things, it has a beautiful garden 🏡, there are two covered porches with chairs where you can relax, read or simply listen to the birds. If you need mosquito spray, all you have to do is say so. Without a doubt the best thing is the Hostel staff, Judith helps you with everything. If you are a woman and traveling alone, this is your place in Arusha. The price-quality ratio is very good. The quality is above the price. Su limpieza es una maravilla, sus habitaciones son frescas y espaciosas, las camas muy cómodas, ducha con agua caliente, el desayuno una delicia (con platos y fruta local), puedes cocinar, está muy bien situado en Sakina (cerca de la carretera general, puedes ir al centro a pie o en transporte público. Desde el hostel te ayudarán a conseguir transporte local a buen precio), es seguro, te pueden guardar tu equipaje si te vas de safari, wifi gratis con buena cobertura , un salón muy cómodo y acogedor, dispone de una nevera pequeña compartida en la cocina en la que puedes poner tus cosas, tiene un jardín 🏡 bonito, hay dos porches cubiertos con sillas donde puedes relajarte, leer o simplemente escuchar los pájaros. Si necesitáis spray para mosquitos no tienes más que decirlo. Sin lugar a ninguna duda lo mejor es el personal del Hostel, Judith te ayuda en todo. Si eres mujer y viajas sola es tu sitio en Arusha.
