I didn’t stay at the hotel, but I spent a good chunk of time there enjoying the restaurant, pool, and the overall vibe — and here’s the real tea:
Restaurant: Honestly, the food was decent. Nothing too fancy, but solid enough for a casual lunch or dinner. The menu had a good variety — local dishes and some international stuff — but don’t go in expecting a five-star culinary experience. Service was friendly, though it could be a bit slow at times (Karibu Tanzania vibes, you know). Prices were reasonable for the area.
Pool: The pool is definitely a highlight. It’s clean, well-maintained, and perfect if you just wanna chill or swim a few laps. The surrounding area has a relaxing setup with loungers, and the atmosphere is pretty peaceful. Great spot for escaping the city heat.
Location: Super convenient. It’s in a good area of Dar — not too far from the city center but also not smack in the middle of chaos. Easy to reach, with some shops and other spots nearby. It’s ideal for a quick stop or a weekend break without needing to go too far.
Overall Vibe: Chill and casual. Wouldn’t mind coming back for the pool and a meal, especially if I’m in the area. Can’t say anything about the rooms, but the public areas are...
Read moreI visited with family and friends we were 10 of us full 3 tables. A waiter assigned himself and turned to be a disaster. Waiter did not have customer service etiquettes at all he wa bringing wrong orders and Would not even apologize, he kept on blaming the kitchen and other people. Could not tell the difference between milky tea and black tea imagine! We spent 5 minutes trying to convince him the tea he brought was milky and not black and you could clearly see it was white and not black. Our food too more than two hours to arrive!!! He mixed up orders. He had this dirty piece of paper that was already full with scribbles! Such hotel can’t afford even order note books for waiters??? Owner try to work on your waiters and customer care. Such a nice hotel would hate to see it ruined due to...

The server was completely incompetent in basic communication and on occasion tried to argue with us about whether we had ordered for something or not, despite having written it down and we had to show it to him, but he didn't want to take any blame.
PS: piece of advice, avoid this place for food. just come and have drinks and enjoy the ambiance. it will save you a lot of headache. in particular in their Twiga...
