Beautiful location. I would give 2 stars for the place. The management is very poor. We were welcomed to the beach side sofas when entered their premises, after 30min of having beer and ordering food one staff comes tells us that this place is private and we have to vacate at 3pm unless we paid 200,000 tshs for the spot with which we would get a glenfidich bottle. After few minutes another staff comes and tells us that this place is reserved and that we have to vacate by 4pm or we pay 250,000tshs we get the spot and get a bottle of glenfidich. Miscommunication amongst staff is at extreme. I assured them that we would vacate by then since we were only planing to have lunch and leave. I order for glasses for beer 2 different waiters 3 times and yet get only 1 glass while my wife got none. This just made me realised it is a wrong place to hang out. Very poor attitude of staff. Management really needs to put in some more efforts or else will loose a lot of customers. Its not the first time I have been at this place.

My last visit the bill was supposed to be around 100,000 tshs but they charged me 80,000shs. I told them to verify as my bill was supposed to be 100,000tshs. Staff verified and rectified the bill. Management should follow up with staff else they will end up making a loss with such quality of staff.

Overall very disappointed with the place. I don't think I can revisit this...

It was my last night to spend in Dar es Salaam February 13th 2023, so we went there for dinner a group of five people. I wouldn't say the food was what people say wow. Here is my story. I asked for the bill and wanted to pay using my Master card, the boy brought the bill with his scanner machine, I gave him my Master card, scanned once and said it was not successful, so he asked me to repeat this process again for the second time, he said again wasn't successful so the boy asked for cash. So I had to pay in cash sum of Tsh 202000,-- I was shocked when I saw my bank statement in Hamburg. That boy booked twice that amount from my account on top of that paid Tsh 202000,--cash. I've brought this issue to the management I'm curious to see what will happen. My advice to other guests be careful, always there might be a bad boy out there trying to...

Mbudya Island (or simply Mbudya) is an uninhabited Island in Tanzania, north of the country's largest city,  Dar es salaam and is one of the four islands of the Dar es Salaam Reserve (DMRS).

The island lies close to the beach resort and fishing community of Kunduchi and is reachable by means of a 20-minute motorboat ride crossing from the mainland. It is therefore a popular day trip for both tourists and Tanzanian residents alike, serving as a location for a variety of leisure activities, including snorkelling, sunbathing and hiking.

We can get the Ferry from Jangwani Resort, White sand Resort and Azure Resort. The rates are as below, TZS 12,000 for Local residents TZS 15,000 for foreign resident TZS 27,000 entry fees for Foreigners.

The beach is surrounded with Palm trees. Local food is available...

Went there for cocktails. They are reasonable priced. I had a sex on the beach which was nice. my partner had a mojito which was mostly rum, it tasted like a triple rum and Soda water. Service is abit slow, waited 30mins for two cocktails. the atmosphere was enjoyable.
