KILIMANI VIEW BOUTIQUE AND SPA HOTEL — Hotel in Miembeni

This is an old world style hotel that has done much to keep it's original design. Solid wood interior doors with the same locks and keys you would find on a grandfather clock. The staff here is amazing. I have Parkinson's and although the locks and keys remind me of my grandparent's house, it can be difficult sometimes for a Parkinson's patient to work the lock. That's where what I call the genies come in. They remind me of a sleeping cat in another room who come screeching into the kitchen hearing the tuna fish an open. These genies somehow hear me putting the key into the lock and within seconds are there to help me. The room includes a full breakfast. I like hot sauce with my eggs and between my tiny Swahili and the chef's little English she finally understood what I wanted and for the rest of my stay I had freshly made chili sauce for my eggs each morning. One morning, I had an early morning appointment and decided to stay at a different property closer to my appointment. It was the exact same price as the Kilimani but didn't include, breakfast, the sink was detached from the wall so when you turned on the water, it ran onto the floor. The toilet seat wasn't attached to the toilet and the toilet wasn't attached to the floor. Good luck if you needed to sit down. ||||The combination of price and service is unmatched on the island. One of the worst hotel I ever have been, no TV in room no intercom, at washroom no towels and no any toiletries. Staff having lunch at front office counter and guest stair, big waste of money, one thing what I like is staff behaviour, onewer of the hotel kindly shutdown this place or improve everything over there.
