The remote control of the air conditioner was missing, so the room was constantly cooled. The bathroom had a hot shower. The interior of the room was dated and needed maintenance. Cleaning could be improved. Not remarkable continental breakfast with few options was served in the restaurant.

Read moreI stayed at this hotel in September 2018 when on business in Morogoro. The hotel room was comfortable but is very dated and not very well maintained. I moved rooms the first night because the shower was just a trickle. Once I moved, it was ok, with hot water available every day.||||On the positive side, the hotel is very central and within walking distance to a few restaurants (don’t walk at night however), and has very good WiFi particularly on the terrace. It has a big pool which looked very clean. The terrace menu was very long, but I would recommend the Indian food above all the others. I had excellent curries each night. ||||One major negative was the noise every night that went on, sometimes well after midnight, from a club in town (even during the week). Some of the rooms are not sound-proofed enough and are oriented to receive the noise. In addition, the pool/terrace lights are on until late. It was very annoying not to be able to sleep. ||||If you are a light sleeper like myself, ask the owner when checking in to put you in a room where these will not bother you (ground floor may be better). The owner did offer to move me after the second night of this, but as I only had one more night to go (and had already moved once), I declined. This hotel sorely needs maintenance and updating, but is value for money if you can look past some of the irritations.
