We went there following an old lonely planet recommendation. Unfortunately, since that time the hotel passed severe deterioration. According to the locals, it used to be a very nice hotel, but since the death of the owner, things have nit been the same. The facility is neglected, and very badly maintained: the room was dirty, it hadnt been sweeped, the sheets and pillows were stained. The shower walls were full of mold and the toilet seat broken.|For breakfast we got 3 old dry pieces of bread (not even toast), blu band and tea.|The only good thing I can say on the hotel is the great attitude and helpfulness of the stuff. Read moreOnce upon a time this place might have been charming, big rooms and wood-panelled bar and big reception lounge. But now it has damp, no hot water, no wifi, no TVs and a LOT of noise from the outside bar. The garden is nice but otherwise the hotel is being really neglected in favour of the outside bar with very loud music. One particularly bad night I was woken at 2am by staff shouting up and down the corridor. What made things worse was being laughed at by the staff for thinking this...

It's popular with local business people, with an occasional sprinkle of western travelers.
