This villa, the service and the staff is exceptional. |The villa is huge, 4 big bedrooms, super big roof terrace, beautiful garden and big bathrooms. |Mohammed (chef) and his staff is incredible, super friendly and very helpful. We were very glad to spend our time with them, laying on the wall outside chatting with them and locals, or on the terrace in front of the house where the climate is amazing. |After the first meal, we decided not to eat anywhere else only in the villa, because the quality and amount of food is absolutely delicious and amazing. ( I even asked Mohammed to reduce the portions) We have 3 small kids therefore it was very important to us to eat safe foods with maximum hygiene, and that is what we got by Mohammed. We ordered lunch and dinner for all days from Mohammed. We only ate seafood during our 11 days stay, and it was better and better every day, I can’t even pick one as favorite because we loved all of them. ( okay the lobsters are unique, never had such a wonderful, delicious lobster in my life, and those sauces :) )|Those fruits for breakfast, wow, and the pancakes of which my kids ate like 20pcs a day. ||We trusted him on what to eat, he picks the best anyway :)||Raphael and Khatibu were great too. Immediately responded to all queries, organized everything we wanted. One day I went deep sea fishing ( caught two barracudas ), Khatibu was there to pick me up at 0445, no delays, no problems. Went with the captain recommended by Mohammed/Khatibu, very nice guy and reliable. It’s better to listen to the staff when you planning small trips, because they know who should you go with. |Khatibu is like your private guide, he knows everything about Tanzania and Zanzibar, great to listen to his stories. |Did sailing with captain Peter, very nice guy and knows what he is doing. He was also recommended by the staff. ||Jambiani itself is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday, no crowds at all. The sea and the beach is amazing!!|Locals are very nice people, peaceful place. ||We were sad leaving you, because we became a big family together :)||We are very very thankful to you all for making our holiday unforgettable and so perfect; will never forget you guys, and we will definitely return in the near future.||Asante sana|Hakuna matata ||Big respect to you all, hats off!!!||Lajos, Reka, Leo, Maja, Millie||PS. We could not stop to get impressed with the superb scenery in particular from the vast upper floor terrace, where wherever you turn you see beauty - of the sea, beach, palm trees, even houses of native Jambiani's who are near by and very friendly. We were stunned by the colours of the sea, constantly changing along with the tides, sun and a few clouds. Initially we thought of cooking some meals, going to the restaurants etc, but we immediately understood that this is not necessary. Every morning the house staff serves a superb breakfast with local fruit, juice, tea, ... You almost could skip a lunch, but cannot resist the offer of chef Mohammed who makes excellent lunches and surely unforgettable dinners, all cooked fresh in the kitchen and served with his utmost respectful and joyful staff. The lunches and evening meals were indeed first-class, prepared with passion and attention to details, ... a real treat, while at the same time we enjoyed watching from the dining table the light blue and green water slowly making its way towards the villa, or going away, with the tide. During our 16-day stay at the villa we never had a day where we ate the same meal twice. ||||Moreover, we found Mohammed's connection to local fishermen very valuable for organizing local snorkeling or fishing trips that are just steps away from the villa. We also enjoyed exploring other parts of the island by a small van with Hatibu - the house manager. ||||The atmosphere at Jambiani is very friendly and familiar, the beach is vast, and even that it was a high season there were not too many tourist. All over you feel the relaxed atmosphere and the joy of life, in particular from the local children and young men playing football or beach volleyball. As many other tourists, we spontaneously joined the locals almost every evening and played together with them on the beach. We felt completely safe, as well. || ||Overall it has been a unique experience of having enjoyed top comfort which you normally get only in a high class hotels, but being immersed whenever we wanted with the locals and getting to know their way of life. ||We hope to one day come back to enjoy the people as well as the nature that makes Mwendawima Villa as well as Jambiani...
