Dear all, ||||I want to share my bitter sweet experiences of my Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) stay at Maple Hotel Bang Na. ||||The pickup and arrival in Hotel is OK. Food is OK. The food and beverage manager is understanding and kind. ||||If you are staying here alone and don't have any other requirements, no problem.||||I want to share something so that you know what you will be getting from Maple Hotel Bang Na. I booked the Deluxe room package on the ASQ brochure released by them. ||||On their website, they stated that deluxe room have bathtub, but not in their ASQ brochure. So I contacted them and ask the type of room we are staying at the moment and to be transfer to deluxe room with Bathtub. ||||16 days quarantine in the room, at least we can relax in bathtub since we can't use the pool. On their websites the room we are staying (by looking at the room design and information provided), we assume that we are staying in Superior room, which is one grade lower. ||||For the first 11 days, their excuses were the deluxe room with bathtub is in another building and they refuse to tell me what room that we are staying at the moment. ||||So the General Manager (Owner) called me on day 12 and ask me what I want. I ask the hotel to honor their offer advertise on the brochure. I ask him, what room we are staying in at the moment and he do not want to tell me. ||||So I explained to him that the room type offered is deluxe room and in their website stated that deluxe room have bathtub. He keep repeating that he do not want to listen to me talking about the package on the brochure. Then he THREATEN to complaint to Government if I request for room with Bathtub or talk about what is in the package. The GM also stated very clear that I should listen to him, not he listen to me.||||The GM also lied that Thai Government forbid them to provide rooms with bathtub to ASQ customers. ||||So I called the hotel front desk and spoke with the so called "Covid Manager". This time, They give excuses that there are two type of deluxe room, one with bathtub, one without. They said every single room allocated for ASQ including Luxury, Executive and Family WILL NOT HAVE bathtub. So I reconfirmed with the him if there are such regulation by Thai Government that forbid Maple Hotel to provide bathtub to ASQ customer, at first he said YES, Thai Government don't allow them to provide bahtub to ASQ customer, then I ask that other ASQ hotel provide room with bathtub, this time he immediately said that it's Maple Hotel decision to not provide bathtub to ASQ customer.||||They said they are loosing money by offering us ASQ customers room with bathtub. In reality, they will go bankrupt if it isn't for ASQ. They should appreciate us, not the opposite.||||For the 16days quarantine at Maple Hotel, I feared for my daughter safety and my safety as anything could happen as long as we stay in their property because we will only received our Covid Free Certificate. I afraid that the GM have the power to change the result.||||My conclusion, AVOID AT ALL COST unless desparate. ||||In this Hotel, General Manager (Owner) is King,...
Read moreActually i just want to give only 1 star for the service, especially to the people who received the message from line, they are so impolite, whenever i sent the order for the food, 50% was wrong, I don’t know they can read English or not, i have to make sure and call to the receptionist again and again, and i gave 3 star just because the team who served us the food, deliver team and khun Art , they helped us so much during 2 weeks we stayed there, we are so appreciate for their helping and kindness, they made us from unhappy to happy just because we knew they tried to serve us good as much as they can, not like some people with bad service and impolite like who is received my message from Line Thanks 🙏🏻 again to Khun Art and his team ( chefs, deliver team, and so on... ) Update the menu for whom maybe concerns, you will stay here 14 days, 3 meals/ day, mean you will eat 42 meals/ 14 days, the menu have 40 items but i can eat just only some of this, some is not match with my taste, so totally i have around 20 items for choosing with 42 meals 😢, so that I couldn’t enjoy and feel bored with the food so much, my room was self service for 10 days, i have to do everything by myself, they just served only the food, my room was 1 adult and 2 kids, and the cost is nearly 100.000 baht/ 14 days quarantine , 1 day / 7000 baht around And the food is just 500 baht/ day I think with my experience, so everyone can think twice before you will choose the hotel, hope you have 14 days enjoyable, and not like us, it was...
Read moreBooked in for ASQ Airport picn was fine if not a little strange as there was litteraly no one at the airport Check front desk staff friendly and spoken good English Room was clean air com cold view well it is a city Room was large bed very comfortable with lovely soft pillows spent the 5 days sleeping lol Food was very tasty and often arrived early but sadly due to the amount of people stating in hotel was at best luke warm but as I said it was tasty Room service was fast if not a little expensive but did order a fair bit from the menu and this food was always hot Coffer tea are provided if you run just call down and more will appear room was cleaned but you have to call reception for this Regarding reception if you need anything they will try and get for you Good english spoken on telephone and very polite After getting neg test can wander round hotel and sunbathe in the rest area's. In all I would say that the Maple is a good ASQ for the price as far as I am concerned because why pay doubel the price as a ceiling is a ceiling and pretty much your dtay here is as good as it gets Tvhad lots of channels with a 24 hour film channel.
