Maguro Sushi — Restaurant in Bang Na Nuea Subdistrict

This was my first visit to this branch of Maguro. Order a 7-item sashimi combo, a sushi roll, deep fried oysters, and a grilled snow fish set meal. All the dishes were fresh and tasty, and came in generous portions, especially the sashimi! A slice of salmon sashimi here can easily 3 times as thick as those of other chain Japanese restaurants in Bangkok. Of the four dishes, the grilled snow fish was the tastiest while the sashimi combo and sushi roll were not too far behind. Of the remaining dish, the deep fried oyster, it tasted good, just that there were too much floor.

The meal cost 3200 Baht in total. The amount of food can easily feed 3 hungry adults, and may be even four! I recommend this restaurant and...

Used to like the authentic taste of this japanese sushi restaurant. But today I ordered Aburi sushi set and guess what was served? Thai style sweet sauce overwhelmed the sushi set. Thought it was their fusion dish and tried a few pieces but it was awful. This dish was found under the Sushi menu page. It should not be there if it somehow became a fusion dish. I asked the waitress to change it back to the original but she claimed that I should have instructed them not to add Sauce onto the Sushi..... I'm confused....isn't Sushi are fresh meat with rice for simply enjoying the natural taste? Since when sweet sauce are evolved...

As always the food was superb and as always the atmosphere was ruined by the inattentive staff. I decided to give this branch another try after 1 year and again was disappointed by the wait staff. There were only 3 tables at around 14.00 and it still took forever for a waitress to look over to see if we needed anything (refills, asked to order additional items, and took forever to get their attention to ask for our bill.) Wait staff seemed like they didn't even want to be there, I recommend perhaps you hire some fulltime staff instead of part-time students who couldn't careless about your customers or...
