MUST SEE!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Just Okay – Not Worth the Hype or your money they literally had meeting to get money from customers. Trash place. Plus the purple tea they serve you at the beginning was revolting it was purple poop in a cup.
My stay at Sukko Spa was underwhelming, to say the least. It wasn’t the worst experience, but it certainly wasn’t worth the money or the reputation it claims to have. Here’s what stood out:
Cleanliness Issues: The room was not up to standard. The bathroom had stains on the toilet, and there was tissue still left in the dispenser, which made me question how thoroughly it was cleaned. Bug Problems: There were ants in the room, and mosquitoes were a constant nuisance. It made it hard to relax or even enjoy a good night’s sleep. Extra Charges: Be prepared to pay for everything. They even charge for sheets, which I found ridiculous. It felt like they were looking for every possible way to tack on extra fees so their loss of business or revenue could compensate for their lack of value. Room Cleaning Neglected: They only cleaned once during my stay. Before we left they charged us for great. I had to ask for fresh towels and other essentials like tissue, which should have been a given. Average Staff: The staff wasn’t rude, but they weren’t particularly friendly or helpful either. They did the bare minimum and didn’t go out of their way to enhance the experience. Mediocre Rooms: The rooms were basic and felt dated. They weren’t terrible, but they didn’t match the expectations set by the marketing photos. Communication: Attempted to call, email or what’s app x10 ahead of our trip to inform them of our early arrival and for different things to do at the facility and surrounding areas. However, crickets no response. Truly felt neglected. Good luck and God speed to those who take their holiday here you will absolutely need it. 🔥Spy in the rooms🔥: the creepiest thing in the middle of the night around 3am we received a phone call telling us to “turn the TV off” from the staff. This made our skin crawl avoid this place at all costs!
Overall, Sukko Spa was just okay. If you’re looking for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. It’s not the worst place, but it’s certainly not worth the money or the hassle....

Location wise it was great for us as it was a 15min taxi into town but far enough out of the busy centre. If you want easy access to amenities you may want to consider going closer to Phuket centre. There are plenty of restaurants within a 15minute walk but the roads are very busy so taking a taxi may be preferable for some as there is no real pathway.
Whilst here we had almost private access to a beautiful pool, overlooking vast green space. There is a steam room, a jacuzzi and shower rooms near the pool. There is also a gym and a Muay Thai ring for training (you may need to get permission to use this). The gym has 4 treadmills, dumbbells and a variety of other machinery.
In the room we had a beautiful jacuzzi, 2 massage tables (and a masseuse can be arranged through reception), an open shower room, a toilet, a wash station, a cloak room, a fridge, a tv, a kettle and a balcony. My only critique here is that the air con machine is a little noisy and the walls are a little thin, we could hear our neighbour talking until around 3am. I’m too old to be awake then so I used my ear plugs and it was much easier. The shower had good pressure but it did fire out in all directions so as a girl with long hair, this made it difficult to have a non-hair wash shower. Luckily the welcome pack included a shower cap to keep my hair dry.
We had breakfast included which we thought was a buffet option but it’s actually freshly made to order, I would argue that the portions can be considered small, but there is variety to be had. As for bar service at the pool, the smoothies were absolutely delicious and freshly made.
We were able to arrange a late check out with minimal issue due to having a 10pm flight home. This was greatly appreciated! WiFi worked very well all over the grounds. I personally loved sitting on the balcony and watching the squirrels in the banana trees or seeing the lizards rustling around. Measures are taken to keep mosquitos out of the villas. Overall a...
Read moreQuiet hotel near the rainforest. You'll hear wildlife from time to time, but nothing disruptive. Just an ok experience. The staff was nice, but the building is outdated. It is more than time for a remodel, but for the price it's still pretty good. The food here was pretty lackluster so save your coins and go out anywhere else to eat while in Phuket. There are two really good Cafés a 3 -5 minute walk from the hotel. There wasn't a difference between the two room types from what I saw, so keep that in mind while booking. Also, I signed into my Samsung account while there and it wasn't a way to sign completely out. I wouldn't recommend signing into anything. They offer many massage packages with a discounted voucher. That's a nice gesture, but you can find others in town for less. Check out was pretty slow as they have to check the room for damages before you leave. I was charged 700 baht, $22 usd, for a towel I used on my hair...😒. For full disclosure, my hair is dyed and the the color bled on to the towel when drying it. The towel was saved as "evidence" to explain why they were going to charge me. I have NEVER heard of a charge for a hotel towel in any other hotel. Besides that being ridiculous, I was then questioned about a bath robe being missing. The fact the receptionist insisting I had two upon check in when i did not is inappropriate.I only had one when I was shown the room and one was there when I left. Lastly, I was charged for the floor mat too.....again from the dye in my hair. In total $35 for a towel and bath bath mat. The entire check out process was 15 minutes and every 4 minutes I was updated with something else I would have to pay for. It's petty and desperate. They could have at least told me prior to check out so I can purchase a towel and mat myself. Instead they waited 3 days when I'm leaving. Lesson learned. I originally was going to give this a 4 star review but check out makes it a 2. It's about the principle,...
