SHORT VERSION: This was the most stressfull accomodation experience i ever had. And that's sad because the property is beautiful and has so much potential, if only competent people were in charge of running a place like this. No reception, no info, no customer service at all. If you're unlucky and get room number 12, your quality of sleep will sink drastically. Nobody takes responsibility for any problems. Waste of money and precious holiday time.
LONG VERSION: Not clear at all who is actually supposed to be the point of contact. The owners whose whatsapp QR-code is everywhere on the site, or the other woman, let's call her "B", who sleeps on site? They both say they are the point of contact, but when i have a problem, none of them takes responsibility.
I got a room next to a couple of huge watertanks. They continuously made a loud, super annoying sound every couple of seconds. This sound came through all the way inside my bathroom, through the water spray of the toilet. The first night i could not sleep AT ALL. I closed all windows, sleep with earplugs, and put the cover over my head, but the noise still came through.
The next day, at 7 in the morning -not sure who to contact- i first kindly asked the "owner" via whatsapp if the noise could be fixed, and if not, if they could give me another room because the first night was horrible. After 3,5 hours she responded that she will contact "B". Then a whole day passed of super messy communication back and forth between the 3 of us. B said that a technician came and fixed it. When i got back, i immediately hear that nothing is fixed. So i was forced to book another hotel for 1 night, because for obvious reasons, i needed sleep.
The next day was just more of the same bad communication. When i could finally switch rooms, i had to meet with "B". I said i was ready, she said ok. When i was there, nobody answered the door, nobody answered the phone. So i put my bags back in the noisy room and locked the door. 1 hour later she texted "sorry i was at...
Read moreOur stay at The Beatles Lagoon was nothing short of a disaster. We arrived late, around 1 AM, after a long journey, and the problems started immediately.
A housekeeper, who did her best but spoke no English, showed us to our room. To our surprise, there was only one double bed, even though our reservation was for three people (my husband, my son, and me). When we raised the issue, the manager told us that a child could share the parents’ room for free… but where exactly was he supposed to sleep? After a pointless discussion, they finally provided a mattress on the floor—completely unacceptable for a so-called luxury hotel.
We were assigned room number 11, located right next to a pump that turned on every two minutes, making an unbearable noise. Sleeping was impossible. We expected a five-star experience, but what we got wouldn’t even qualify as a two-star hotel. The amenities were minimal, the advertised safe was nonexistent, and the towel rack was barely attached, forcing us to find creative ways to dry our clothes. To make matters worse, the view from the room was nothing but a concrete wall, adding to the overall disappointment.
The bathroom had a strong musty odor, making it an unpleasant space. And if you think you might recover after a rough night, think again—at 6 AM, a nearby farm's roosters start their morning concert, and by 7 AM, construction noise from a site next to our room began, with hammers echoing through the walls. On top of that, traffic noise was constant—finding peace and quiet was simply impossible.
The hotel is in a remote location, making taxis a necessity for every trip. And forget about a real reception—everything is handled through WhatsApp. For a place that claims to offer high-end service, this was beyond disappointing.
Overall, our stay at The Beatles Lagoon was a huge letdown. This hotel does not deserve its rating or the expectations it sets. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else if you want to enjoy your trip without...
Read moreI enjoyed staying at this place especially because of the surrounding area which has alot of green and view at the amazing mountains in the back with the Buddha.
I stayed one month total and came to phuket to train muai thai. This made me wake up very early and go to sleep early. If you are planning to sleep alot and wake up late I suggest taking a different room then number 11 because of the construction zone which is right beside.
There also is a water tank of pump which makes alot of noise every few minutes. Did not bother me btw only the construction site which they can't do anything about.
All contact is via Whatsapp which I like because the landlord is very helpful and respons is almost instant. She was very nice and made sure something got done when you ask for it like cleaning the room at a certain time or fixing something. 🙏🏽
The amenities are plenty for me alone, a microwave, water boiler and new water bottles every day which was handy for me. The only downside was the bathroom that was very hot because the AC did not reach there.
I am planning to come to Phuket every year for 2 weeks for training, and will come here next time again for sure🙏🏽
Tip: Make sure to buy a mosquito plug for the wall because there are many 🦟 because we are...
