We needed a place to sleep in after arriving in Chiangmai before heading further north. This looked like a cheap comfortable place. The rooms are quite dark, with what some people would describe as "industrial" decor - bare concrete walls and bathtub, old wooden doors. As other reviewers have mentioned, the rooms do not have any windows. This can be quite an interesting experience, if you imagine that you are spending the night in a jail cell (I'm not being sarcastic - I enjoyed the experience). There is a small dusty balcony overlooking the carpark. There is a lot of nice old wooden furniture lying around, which would be nice to sit around in, but we are rather indoorsy people, so we did not get to enjoy them. The facilities were not very well maintained. The shower water ran hot and cold unpredictably, and the aircon was noisy and not very good at cooling the room. The bed was a bit dusty. There was a nice swimming pool and pool area with lots of interesting decor. The restaurant is nice and spacious with a good pool view. The food was average. But hey it was pretty cheap.

This is a great little resort nestled in beautiful trees with 2 saltwater pools. The staff are brilliant and very accommodating. The grounds and the rooms are kept clean everyday and the pools also. The food and drinks are enjoyable though a little pricey. The rooms where I stayed had a lovely wooden Thai influence throughout. The pools are small and deep and very clean but children who are not the best swimmers would need to be with an adult. I would say this resort is not suitable for the disabled with leg problems or wheelchair as the bar/restaurant/breakfast area and pools are all elevated with wooden man made steps toilets on pool level restaurant etc above. For me it was perfect so peaceful, room service and excellent Wi-Fi TV has no English channels and great bar and reception staff.

This place was incredible. We stayed for three nights. The people working here are so nice and helpful. The location is excellent, you can get anywhere in less than 20 minutes, it’s off a quiet alley, and there is a 7/11 within walking distance. The breakfast was amazing, there are two great pools, inexpensive massages, clean rooms with great A/C, bottled water in your room, and comfy beds. The highlight for us was the security guard/host, an old black lab named Dummy. She was rescued by the owner and is so sweet and made our day, every day. This is a bang for your buck, I wouldn’t hesitate with any of the negative reviews, truly a great experience.

Our family had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in Chiang Mai. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff, who went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable experience. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, which was perfect for our family of four. We booked two separate rooms, each with its own toilet, which made things so much more convenient, especially when traveling with children. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. One of the best parts of our stay was the price—it was reasonable for the quality of service, facilities, and comfort provided. Given the spacious rooms, great food, and excellent amenities, it was fantastic value for money. I directly booked and was cheaper than booking.com and agoda. They did not even ask any upfront payment and paying them at the end of our stay. One of the standout features of our stay was the food. The hotel served delicious meals with a good variety of options, making it easy for us to find something we all enjoyed. The quality of the food was excellent. Another highlight was the two swimming pools, which were well-kept and provided a great way to relax after a day of exploring. The pools were spacious and not overcrowded, allowing us to fully enjoy the facilities. The kids especially loved spending time there! Despite being a few kilometers from the city center, the location was peaceful and quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for. It was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, providing a perfect balance of convenience and relaxation. Overall, we had an amazing experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. We would definitely stay here again on...

I am currently staying at the Rainforest Boutique hotel. It is such a laid back lovely hotel the staff are amazing so helpful and friendly the rooms are basic, clean and comfortable, but fabulously spacious, well the deluxe room is can't comment on the others as I'm in a deluxe with a super king size bed. Sunken Lanna bath separate shower room and separate toilet, then a separate dressing area. ||||It has two pools. A lovely open air restaurant. Laid in bed on a night you can hear the rainforest noises and the flow from the pool waterfall. It's not far out of the main city a taxi into the city or tuktuk will cost around a 100 bhat roughly £3.||||It offers a free shuttle bus service to the night market at 8pm each night Mr lucky the bus, come taxi driver is so lovely and full of fantastic information about the history of Chiang Mia and where to go. You can book private personalized tours with him cheaper than you can with the tour company. He is that lovely as I was walking along the road he stopped while riding his motorbike and asked where I was going when I told him just up the road to the 7/11 store he said hop on I'll drop you off I'm going past when I asked how much he said no charge. His sons also drive taxis so there is always one available at cheap prices.||||It's a little hidden gem is the Rainforest Boutique hotel would definitely stay here again instead of in the old city oh and the price is...

The place seems nice on the outside but the deeper you look the more dodgy things become. The hot water in room 228 is abismal with no adjustment, the doors dont properly fit, something walks around the roof at night and the cherry ontop, THEY STOLE OUR CLOTHES. Washing was handed in the first night we got here and it was returned with multiple items missing which is unprofessional and when asked about it, I was simply given the answer that the place did not pickup. |Furthermore there is contruction work next to the building who we were told "do not work much on weekends". On Saturday we were gone by 7:30, but evidently we just missed then as we were woken up at 8am sunday to obnoxious hammering and sawing. I do recognise this is not in their control however if they were honest to begin with then we would have been able to make an informed(and wise) decision likely not to stay there.|Furthermore the pool tiles are not grouted, sharp and extremely slippery, a trend which continues to the polised concrete which leads to the "delux suits". |Overall, the only reason this place even gets 1 star is due to the beds not being hard but even then, its nothing to write home about.|Would...
