We would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the truly outstanding experience we had during our recent stay at your resort. We stayed between September 25-29 in Villa 25, and from the very first moment we arrived, it felt as though we had stepped into a dream.||Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed at the reception and were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a villa with a pool - a gesture that immediately set the tone for our stay. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained. Our villa was stunning, spotless, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. It is easy to see the hard work and dedication of your housekeeping team, who ensure that every corner of the property reflects perfection.||The dining experience was equally remarkable. At both breakfast and lunch, the restaurant staff impressed us with their warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Every interaction was accompanied by a smile, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We must highlight that breakfast at Anantara Layan was without question the best we have ever had at a hotel - everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.||The pool and bar staff also stood out with their friendliness and eagerness to help at any moment. Their cheerful attitude made each visit by the poolside a true pleasure.||One of the most heartwarming aspects of our stay was how child-friendly your entire team is. Every staff member we encountered was kind and welcoming to our children, often approaching them with a toy, a smile, or an extra effort to make them feel special. As parents, this meant so much to us and created memories we will cherish forever.||The front desk and guest services teams also went above and beyond to assist us with every request. It was evident throughout our stay that your staff work seamlessly together, constantly communicating and updating one another to ensure that guests receive the best possible service. This level of teamwork is rare and truly commendable.||As our stay comes to an end, we leave with a heavy heart, wishing we could remain longer, but at the same time filled with joy and gratitude for the unforgettable experience you have given us. We consider ourselves proud ambassadors of Anantara Layan and will happily recommend your resort to anyone who asks. In fact, after sharing our experiences on social media, dozens of friends and acquaintances have already reached out asking for details - and we are delighted to share our glowing recommendation.||We will also be more than happy to leave a top rating and a positive review to recognize the exceptional efforts of your team. If there is anything further we can do to support or promote Anantara Layan, please do not hesitate to let us know - we would gladly help.||Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this holiday perfect and for creating family memories we will carry...

Our first stay at an Anantara. Went during Chinese New year, arrived at on a Friday night, arrival ambience was nice and cosy, beach was booked for private function by a group from China, thanks to their party, we got to enjoy fireworks display.

Good Good arrival experience, driven on a buggy to the reception on the hill for check in, was served welcome tea, cold towels and local Thai candy. Petch, who checked us in and her colleagues were very friendly and explained our room packages very well. Petch even drove us to our Pool Villa room, gave us a room tour and answered our questions in friendly and knows when to give us our personal space. She wa friendly and professionally. Pool Villa was spacious, comfy and clean. Daily Turn down service was a nice touch. We stayed in #31, nice and quiet. fruit bowl provided in room, the fruit menu with pictures and introduction was a nice touch. Well done! provided insect repellent spray and lavender mist! Another wonderful touch. Gipsy, from the F&B team was attentive,as a joy to make conversations with and encouraged us to try the CNY buffet dinner and other activities organized by the resort. Dee Plee Thai restaurant was expensive but their good service, nice ambience and food made it worth it. Kudos to the F&B team. Breakfast venue and buffet food display. Clean, organized, attractively displayed. green initiatives. Complimentary water served in sealed glass bottles, recycling bins available in the room. Anantara spa is a gem. Our masseuse Judy and Rita was friendly, professional and skillful. We tried the Anantara signature massage in a couple room and was so relaxing. The spa interior and relaxation lounge is beautiful. complimentary kayaks beautiful private beach in a cove, use the kayak to explore! complimentary shuttle service to local town area, we didn't go for it cos the resort is just too nice for us to leave.

Not so good rain shower spray needs to be fixed, water stream is misaligned and sprayed everywhere. bathroom wooden sliding door was misaligned as one of it was out of the sliding rail. Pad Thai from the in-room dining and CNY buffet dinner was a lil too soggy and salty.

Can do better not changing towels at every housekeeping visits, to save water. Let guests have the option of putting up a sign or leaving towels on the floor if guests want it changed (like other hotels).

Overall, Anantara Layan exceeded our expectations with their staff service levels, spa, sincere efforts to serve and organize activities and food event for the guests. All though the rain shower head and wooden sliding door was faulty, it was the service that made it ok for us. Will definitely return and recommend couples without...

I came to Anantara Layan with my friend for three nights to eat, massage, play some golf in Phuket and just chill out a bit. Even though I had stayed at various villa hotels in Phuket and Asia, I was very very happy with the overall experience at Anantara. Service was very good and staff speak good English; service speed was probably the best I have experienced with villa hotels (eg buggy arrivals, room service, housekeeping, etc). A few notable points:|1. The Dara (Thai) restaurant was exceptionally good. Whether you are new to Thai food, or you are a Michelin star foodie, you would be impressed. The meal we had was one of the top 5 Thai meals I have ever had in my life! The main Chef (forgot his name) and the staff (a guy called Bank and a very nice girl with a name something like Praraz?) were really helpful and attentive!|2. The Spa - we were so very happy with the 2 message therapists - their names View (she was exceptionally skillful with deep tissue massage and sorted out a lot of my painful “knots”!) and Noi (she was very good with my friend’ balanced relax type massage) that we kept going back for more!!!|3. Zuma was also good - but like other Zuma’s around the world the dining experience comes with a modernish setting with clubby music played tho throughout my whole meal. I mean it was “okay”…., not super unbearable for us, but ideally they could give our ears a bit of rest every now and then perhaps with quieter stuff… 😛|4. Breakfast offers a wide high quality selection of Western and Asian dishes. The cheese room was impressive. Kamille the manager there was very helpful. |5. Concierge was also very helpful and recommended a very good Thai restaurant outside of the hotel for us to try!|Overall, the stay was close to perfect. A couple of things would make it that much more perfect for us:|1. The music volume: I highly recommend management consider managing the music level in the beach house area (where the main pool and Zuma are). If you prefer a bit more peace and quiet, ask for a room or villa not so close to where the beach house (which is where Zuma and the main action takes place) just in case. |2. Catering further for strict vegetarians: my friend is a strict Buddhist vegetarian. The hotel does cater for vegetarians up to a point but it would be helpful if the hotel makes clearer notes on which types of dishes really contain for example no elements of meat/fish, and which dishes can be modified to be strict vegetarian dishes.||I will definitely come back to Anantara Layan to stay. Very...

What a beautiful place!! We started our honeymoon adventure in Anantara and we want to come back, it was so nice! Everything was beautiful and clean, we had amazing breakfasts and Thai food at the restaurant. Staff was really friendly, they showed us around and gave us a bowl of fruit as a welcome gift. Our room was beautiful, everything was provided, it felt very cosy and fresh. Definitely ***** experience. Very comfortable bed and Apple TV provided so it made our life easier. Pool was beautiful and clean. The smell in the room was outstanding and they bring you that beautiful incense every day. You should definitely try bath salts too. What made the holiday special were candies which we were getting on our bed every day and every day they were different. It’s a small thing but it made us feel special. Unfortunately, we had a story with a cockroach in our room but we called the reception and we got a different room within 2h, we had to pack anyway cause we were flying on the next day so it wasn’t a big deal. They sent a pest control straight away. At the end it’s a jungle so don’t freak out if you see any creatures :D I’ve never seen so many little lizards. Don’t leave your terrace door opened! The beach is not big but it’s private so there are not too many people which is a con. Unfortunately the water is the best until 1pm, after is going low. Don’t worry though, there is another beach close where you can swim all day. You can always try Anantara’s pool too. Drinks at Mojito bar were the best and I miss them too, I wish I could see Prince every day, he’s such a lovely person! It’s a bit far from the city but close to Elephant Sanctuary, if you’re there you shouldn’t miss it - it’s a wonderful experience. If you need shopping there is a free shuttle to Laguna every day, check the times at the reception. The gym is small but has got everything you need. There are cold water bottler and towels in the fridge. What more can I say, we loved it and we really want to come back one day! Thank you Anantara crew for a great experience!

This resort is a very nice and quiet place away from everything. We took the Sala Pool Villa and the room was nice and clean. With a beautifully and over-sized bathroom when compared to the bedroom. Toiletries provided were decent. In-room & out-of-room slippers are provided. The pool in the villa was decently sized. Privacy was acceptable. We weren't disturb by any noise from the neighbors nor the surrounding. We enjoyed the short walk from the Lobby to our room. The garden was nice with a few ducks and goose to greet us every time we walk pass. There is no malls, eating places nor massage places within walking distance. The resort provide some activities for free, you can participate in Yoga lessons, kayaking, swimming (both beach and swimming pool). We tried the spa once. Not cheap but they provided very skilled therapists. Breakfast is the usual spread you will expect from any hotel. We had driver to pick us up to other parts of Phuket. The hotel stuff highly recommended the Thai fine dining restaurant, Dee Plee. It's a buggy ride away from our room to the restaurant. I have tasted better Thai food but it's not bad. The view was nice from the restaurant, alfresco dining is recommended. But get ready the insect repellent. The fan wasn't really helping with the heat but it's bearable. A nice and decent place to do a short getaway.
