My friends and I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant, AGE, and we were absolutely blown away by our experience.

While known for its incredible steak offerings, what truly impressed us was the diverse range of dishes on the menu. From seafood to vegetarian options, there was something for everyone in our group, and each dish exceeded our expectations in terms of flavor and quality.

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism by the attentive staff, led by the knowledgeable manager, Stefano. And when it came to the food, Chef Nicola's culinary skills truly stole the show. The Prime Rib was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and showcasing Chef Nicola's expertise.

The venue itself has an epic view overlooking Layan Bay. The sunset we witnessed was nothing short of spectacular, adding an extra layer of magic to our dining experience.

This was our second time to Age, and were not disappointed! We arrived in time for sunset and were seated on the outside deck with a birdseye view. We ordered escargot and beef tartar as starters, and steak /wild mushrooms and barramundi /broccalini. We were also treated, by the chef, to a charcoaled oyster and chilled parsnip soup, as sample starters. For dessert , we opted to share a substantial ball of dark chocolate surrounding creme brulee ,and again the chef treated us with a strawberry and cream concoction. Every thing was over the top delicious, and beautifully presented! Wait service was excellent and Gan, our primary server and tableside chef was constantly at the ready . I would also recommend that you order a bottle of wine , for the treat of watching the Rube Goldberg machine rattle and clank through its mechanations to open and pour a single glass of wine.
