Armonia Village Resort & Spa — Hotel in Chumphon Province

Our stay at Armonia was nothing short of perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from check in to check out. Our room was spacious and clean. The pool was refreshing. A highlight for us was the breakfast every morning. The service was phenomenal and the spread is fantastic: various jams, toast, fruit plate, omelette, juice, water, and a delicious cappuccino. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. Yes, it is a walk to town (15 min) and the beach (10 min) but we didn't mind since we had no real schedule as we were there. Start off with saying the good things. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The location is good. The area around the place is lush and green and look very nice.

Now for the problems: The rooms are very old and not well maintained. We looked at a few rooms and all of them had a bad smell and bugs/mosquitos. And there isn't any window screens/nets to let fresh air to come in without a ton of bugs entering the room. The blankets are ridiculous, they're so thin that you can't even define them as "blankets". The shower in the bathroom is open so the whole room is filled with water each time you want to shower. Stray dogs are roaming in the perimeter. The area is not well...
