Great little hotel with only 2 bungalows right on the beach, literally just couple of steps from your porch to the sea. The bungalow closer to the sea is a smaller one. The second one is huge, with great amount of space. Rooms are a bit unusual but in a very cute way, everything has this unique "sea vibe", lovely. You'll have all the essentials: fridge, strong air-con, hair dryer, toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, soap). I guess the restaurant used to have extensive menu but currently they only offer pizza. Pizza was great though, very delicious. Tables are right on the beach, with candles, sea breeze and soft jazz music. There are many other food options in a short walking distance in case you want something else. The beach itself is very nice, white sand, clear water (we visited it in the beginning of April), in general there are quite a lot of people on weekends, but surprisingly the part of the beach right in front of the hotel remains almost empty. Overall the hotel and the restaurant are very pleasant and romantic, but there is one thing you should be aware of. It is not the hotel fault by any means and I believe no one is happy about it, but there is a big restaurant right beside the hotel playing extremely loud disco music. Moreover I believe other restaurants on the beach are playing loud music as well so perhaps there is no place to escape it in this particular location. But the music stops...

🤗The owners are one of a kind. A cool family and collection of friends. musicians, artists, coffee connoisseurs, mothers, fathers, children, and friends. One owner, P'Boy serenaded the guest with his talented Thai & American folk tunes on his guitar. The staff were friendly and effortless cool and down to earth people.
☕️The coffee was crafted goodness. It is as good, if not better than the hipster coffee's of Chiang Mai or Ari Bangkok. They care about the products they serve, especially the coffee in the mornings.
📡 Another huge benefit of this hotel is it's exceptionally fast wifi speeds, better than most hotels in big cities like Bangkok, Tokyo, or New York. This meant I could seamlessly work from the beach with better wifi speeds than my office or home has. (Screenshot of speed test attached)
🛌The design of the rooms were welcoming, airy, clutter free. Reminded me of a Greece hotel suite mixd with Thai style. The beach was lovely for walking, swimming and paddle boarding.
🚘Even though this trip is almost double the distance from Bangkok as Hua Hin, there is nothing like Maliblues in Hua Hin or Pattaya. So the extra few hours are worth it for experiencing Maliblues. I will be back...
Read moreI love this place so much. Now on my second stay and another one planned later this year it really is a slice of heaven. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly and will really go out of their way to help. Situated right on a quiet, beautiful beach you can wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The accommodation is very rustic in feel with a real weathered wooden boat feeling, but in an incredibly beautiful way. Chickens and their chicks walk past, crabs dart about on the beach and you can find shells washed up each morning. It's wonderful. The live music two days a week is some of the best I've ever heard from a local group too with some incredible jazz guitar. I can't wait to get back there and see the staff again (I'm the person who got a lizard up his shirt and gave the lovely bartender some strawberries). Thank you for making my stay so wonderful and see you all again...
